8 / 10.0 - Skully
Aug 4, 2020

Skully is basically two games in one, where one of the games shines brighter than the other. Despite that, the game still tells an incredibly complex story in a fun and whimsical way. The characters are all great, and the journey to the end is one worth taking. For the Switch version, you will just need to look past some of the blemishes as you make your way through.

7 / 10.0 - Cubicity
Jul 28, 2020

Cubicity is a fun little romp in 3D puzzling that will entertain its players for quite some time. The puzzles may not be the most challenging, and the lack of touch controls on Switch is a bit disappointing, but there is a lot of game here for a very generous price. If you enjoy puzzling on your Switch, this is definitely one to check out.

9 / 10.0 - CARRION
Jul 23, 2020

CARRION is a masterful experience in reverse horror where you play as the monster and ultimately a threat to humanity. The story is simple yet intense, the gameplay is loads of fun despite its quirkiness at times, and sound and visuals are top-notch, and I am finding it rather difficult to not recommend this game. With 2020 going the way it is, now is the time to cheer for the monster.

8.4 / 10.0 - Locomotion
Jul 18, 2020

Locomotion is a top-notch 3D puzzle game that obviously borrows from great games before but also does its own thing in a unique and beautiful way. This is a wonderful first entry to a series I expect to continue moving forward. Polyfox, Locomotion 2 better be in the works, ya hear?!

8 / 10.0 - Get 10 Quest
Jul 18, 2020

Get 10 Quest is a great little number merging puzzle game that will entertain and challenge you for long past what its price tag would dictate. It looks and sounds great, and the touch controls are particularly excellent and make for significantly easier gameplay.

5.8 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Jul 11, 2020

Blair Witch is a great story with a strong and interesting main character, but the experience is marred by less-than-mediocre gameplay, frustrating puzzles that just are not fun, and graphical problems that make the game look so ugly at times. It is sad that the strong points are brought down heavily by the weak points, and that is unfortunately the demise of the game. So much potential, and yet so poorly executed.

7.4 / 10.0 - Ghost Grab 3000
Jul 2, 2020

Ghost Grab 3000's premise is simple, and yet it is a highly addictive score-attack game. I found myself ghost-bustin' whenever I had spare time, and I absolutely loved the adorable ghosties spread throughout the game. This is such a fun title for such a great price!

8 / 10.0 - Singled Out
Jul 2, 2020

Singled Out is a fun arcade game from a one-man team. The gameplay is engaging, fun, and creative, and the look and sound of the game are unique and charming. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and my only complaint is a lack of multiplayer. Make it happen, Matt Glanville!

8.8 / 10.0 - Jet Lancer
Jul 1, 2020

Jet Lancer is a fantastic and unique shoot-em-up that will wow its audience with stellar gameplay and amazing boss fights. The soundtrack rocks, and the visuals are a site to see. Although the price is a bit high for the amount of time you get, you are still getting one of the best shoot-em-ups out there, and I cannot recommend Jet Lancer enough.

Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio is a bizarre puzzle platformer that will entertain for a while, and it does so while looking and feeling incredibly like an NES title... even to the point where it is problematic.
