Ys: Memories Of Celceta is a diffetent type of Action/RPG, most of the times we expect great stories and mostly good gameplay from these sort of games but here, it is the other way around and a serviceable cliche story is combined with a great gameplay and it actually works!

7 / 10.0 - Valorant
Jun 5, 2020

Valorant is a fun and exciting tactical shooter but for the time being, it feels incomplete; and though it has some great moments and it can easily keep you playing past your first few matches, the overall presentation of the game is less compelling compared to other hero shooters.

It may be pricey for the amount of content it offers but the story makes up for this flaw and sets up a better path for the future of the series compared to the main game's ending.

When Mafia III originally came out because it was so far from expectations, it disappointed many fans of the franchise but I believe it deserves another chance and this Definitive Edition is a good choice for that second chance.

This version of Saints Row: The Third is really short on improvements, there is some better lighting and textures here and there but the overall experience doesn't really feel that "remastered" and the gameplay feels very outdated by today's industry standards for the newcomers to the series.

If you liked Mafia II when it was first released, this package won't disappoint you as a revisit but if you didn't like it 10 years ago, this version really doesn't do anything to change your mind.

From what we usually expect from Hideki Kamiya games, this is Wonder-Disappointing.

7.8 / 10.0 - Fury Unleashed
May 17, 2020

Fury Unleashed is an intense action/rogue-lite game with a lot of weird and different enemies and bosses from many places and eras.It also has a surprisingly heartfelt story about self doubt and artists and it's core gameplay and mechanics are everything you'd expect from a game of this genre.

Signs of the Sojourner is a very good amalgamation of Deck-buildings, Rogue-likes, Visual Novels and even Tetris and the Whole thing works beautifully. It really forces you to make hard decisions about how you move your story forward and to understand the whole thing, you need maybe a dozen of playthroughs.

Though Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered doesn't include multiplayer and the Spec Ops, it's still a captivating and exhilarating experience that shows why Modern Warfare 2 will always be a true masterpiece.

Someday You'll Return would be a better game if it was a tad shorter, as ideas that seem exciting at first fall into the pit of repetition the longer the game drags. however, despite this, there is an engaging story and some clever puzzles that accompany the player along their experience.

8.5 / 10.0 - SnowRunner
May 1, 2020

Although it is going to be though on newcomers, the amount of improvements have made this a great title among driving simulation games and SnowRunner is definitely the best of Spintires franchise to date.

8.1 / 10.0 - Streets of Rage 4
Apr 30, 2020

Streets of Rage 4 pulls off an almost impossible task and revives a long dormant franchise in a very satisfying way. I personally would've liked a more gritty look and a little more innovation on the gameplay side but all in all, this is exactly what I expected from a Streets of Rage title in 2020.

8 / 10.0 - Trials of Mana
Apr 29, 2020

Trials of Mana doesn’t really do anything new or very innovative but it tells a classic story with some very nice visuals and fun gameplay mechanics.

7.9 / 10.0 - ITTA
Apr 27, 2020

ITTA's different parts are discrete from each other, but they work quite well as a single mechanism. Its gameplay is surely the thing that keeps one engaged throughout their experience, however the story and the graphics are almost as good, offering a well articulated game which is worth playing, even if it's a bit short.

7.8 / 10.0 - MotoGP 20
Apr 23, 2020

MotoGP 20 shows lots of improvements compared to the last year outing but the changes to the Historic Mode and the audio-visual presentation keeps it from achieving more than “good enough” status.

6.4 / 10.0 - A Fold Apart
Apr 18, 2020

A Fold Apart has some nice moments in its narration but the other parts don’t really stand out that much and it’s very short.

7.4 / 10.0 - Ancient Enemy
Apr 16, 2020

Compared to their previous titles, this feels like a couple of steps in the wrong direction. The gameplay is still fun and sometimes it gets quite exciting but it has become too simple. Although the setting is intriguing, the story doesn’t really do anything with it and that feels like a real wasted potential.

The promise of the reunion has finally been fulfilled. Final Fantasy VII Remake is a great and powerful remake and as a lifetime fan I am so happy to live long enough to get a chance to play it. This should be the standard for anyone trying to attempt any sort of remake in any medium. Now, the waiting game begins for the rest of it.

8 / 10.0 - DOOM 64
Apr 13, 2020

It's easy to take one look at Doom 64 and dismiss it as obsolete; but when you actually play through the first few hours of the game, you'll realize that not only Doom 64 is still a great first person shooter, but also that it proves why Doom is one of the greatest franchises ever made in the history of games.
