I enjoyed my time with One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 yet it doesn't quite offer a wholly fresh and exciting gameplay formula. So, if you're happy with more of the same albeit with flashy visuals and cool special moves then you should give it a go.
Playing Paper Beast is like experiencing a Tim Burton style fever dream that'll keep you perplexed and intrigued throughout.
In the virtual world, being bad often feels good so if you want to stick it to a bunch of medieval villagers then you'll love Good Goliath.
In the end, escape room enthusiasts will find a lot to love in the gorgeously atmospheric and puzzle-filled The Room VR: A Dark Matter.
In the end, Resident Evil: Resistance is a passable yet unremarkable multiplayer game. Playing as a mastermind offers more amusement but being a survivor is too dependent on communication which can be a problem. Even if you're playing under ideal conditions, it sadly loses its appeal very quickly. Specifically, it's not a bad game but it's certainly hard to recommend for long-term play.
It pleases me to say that Final Assault may just be the best real-time strategy game that you can play in VR. What a great experience.
Its premise may be unique and somewhat rewarding but the way Curious Expedition executes it leaves a lot of room for improvement.
HyperParasite is basically the same game as Hellmut: The Badass from Hell but it's still a ton of fun; if not, more so.
With so many superior games inspired by XCOM out there, Element Space's buggy and tedious battles simply don't measure up.
When it comes to arcade-inspired fun, Snakeybus is definitely a fantastic game but it falls a little flat once the novelty wears off.
As a solo game, Totally Reliable Delivery Service falls flat but playing it with friends makes for a fun-filled cooperative formula.
With a lovely presentation and unique gameplay that you can enjoy with a friend, Sky Racket is a must-have indie for any retro lover.
If you have a silly sense of humour then you'll love Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche but don't expect it to be a top-notch shmup.
Taking its off-the-wall sense of humour into account or not, there's no denying that Freedom Finger is a great shmup in every sense.
Rainbows, Toilets & Unicorns is a ridiculous game but once you put the spectacle aside, you're left with a mostly standard shmup.
Syder Reloaded is the complete package when it comes to modern arcade shooting action and it's one tough game to put down.
Remnant: From the Ashes is one of the better ARPGs released in recent years so if you enjoy Souls-like campaigns or third-person shooters in general then I'm sure you'll have an enjoyable time mowing down the monsters that lurk in its post-apocalyptic world.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake is a solid take on the classic Sega Saturn shooter. Hardcore fans may find that certain aspects changed for the worse while newcomers may be perplexed by its barebones approach yet it's hard not to enjoy your time with this on-rails remake.
If you can look past the aesthetics of Disaster Report 4, there's a bunch of fun to be had escaping the broken city and helping out the residents as you struggle to survive and hopefully make your way home.
In the end, Resident Evil 3 suffers from not being as good as its predecessor. It's well-made with likable charismatic protagonists and is quite the roller coaster ride but when compared to the tense full-on survival horror game that preceded it, Resident Evil 3 feels like a step back. Still, if you're a fan and are dying for more, this is a solid game that will undoubtedly scratch that itch.
