Overall if you like retro platform puzzlers then you can’t really go too wrong at £4.99 for this especially if you are looking to boost your Gamerscore.
Headspun is a title that I think has a great concept. But, the issues do lie there, and at the moment, makes it difficult to fully recommend this to anyone who wants to play a smooth game and not get frustrated with issues after 5 minutes.
Overall there isn’t a massive amount of depth here but given the price and the level this game is pitched at the developers have done a pretty good job.
Gravity Duck is a good entry level puzzle platformer and ideal for younger players as its not just the concept that’s simple, it doesn’t need a great level of skill for you to breeze through.
If Forza Horizon 4 is the king of Racers this is right there up with it for me as it is quite simply one of the most fun racers I have played in a very long time.
Train Sim World 2020 is a game though that does offer good variety and good enjoyment in its content, and at the standard price of £24.99 is not bad, given how much players could potentially get out of it.
The Church in the Darkness is built on the mechanic of making numerous runs through the story with the aim of encountering all the different end games, but it just doesn’t hold your attention long enough to make it worthwhile sticking with it.
To summarise – I did not enjoy my time with The Forbidden Arts. It feels to me like a game that could do with an extra 6 months in development to iron out some of my niggling issues. Though, that still might not help the uninspiring narrative.
Ultimately, Pilot Sports is a game that for me had so much potential, and the ability to be a lot of fun.
I would certainly recommend Blast Zone! Tournament to those who love to play games with friends, and I will be looking forward to playing it on my next games-with-friends night!!
The Blackout Club is a game that can easily be played solo, but one that is a fantastic team game.
Overall if you are looking for a fun little platformer or you are an achievement hunter I would very much recommend this game. At £4.50 it is well worth the price of admission even with that music!
It is a fun platformer that gives you a good variety in the levels and offers a unique platformer to play through.
I really wanted to come away from Sagebrush having found a new little gem in the indie game scene. Instead I found a very short, predictable story, that I barely engaged with.
I would fully recommend Bear with Me: The Complete Collection to anyone looking for a narrative driven story game. Even if they wouldn’t normally be drawn to a point and click adventure, I honestly believe the story itself is strong enough to carry the game beyond its mechanics.
Over Pawarumi is a very good shooter with some really well thought out and different mechanics. At £12.49 you are getting a very well rounded and challenging game which should keep you coming back time after time.
In a nutshell, what Triumph Studios and parent company Paradox Interactive have here is nothing short of magnificent! They have taken a timeless strategy series that is adored by people around the world, and opened the floodgates for a huge new wave of fans to appreciate the franchise across multiple platforms.
Overall, I had a fairly mixed experience with They Are Billions. I liked the art style and the concept of the game. I quite enjoyed battling the zombies as a steampunk mastermind, however I disliked certain features of the game.
Overall, however, I did not have a positive experience with Tour De France. This game wasn’t for me, the biggest difference I experienced compared to other racing games is the pacing.
If you like puzzle games this could be kind of up your street but ultimately it feels like it doesn’t quite know who it’s target audience is.
