Electric Bento's Reviews

Even if BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre wasn’t a horrible attempt at satire with no original ideas, it would not stand on its gameplay.

3.8 / 10.0 - Mekabolt

Mekabolt is generic. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. What's fun at first quickly turns into a chore.

3.8 / 10.0 - Left Alive

There are moments of really great gameplay and narrative that shine through, and I believe that a few sizable patches could make Left Alive a decent game.

There are things to like about Escape from Lost Valley from the character designs to a few clever boss battles, but that's all wasted on a game that's simply just not fun to play.

5 / 10.0 - The Sinking City

The Sinking City is an overpriced technical mess full of awkward mechanics but with a decent plot.

5.8 / 10.0 - Sagebrush

6 / 10.0 - FullBlast
Sep 28, 2018

Too many modern shmups are bullet hell shooters, so it’s refreshing to play one that doesn’t totally flood the screen with bullets at every moment. With decently fun gameplay, easy Achievements/Trophies, and a low price, FullBlast offers just enough bang for your buck.

6.5 / 10.0 - Home Sweet Home

At the $29.99 price point, I’m having a hard time recommending Home Sweet Home. It does some things right, while failing at others.

6.8 / 10.0 - GreedFall

GreedFall, the new Action-RPG from French studio Spiders, is overly ambitious for its own good, getting bogged down with bugs and poorly implemented ideas.

6.8 / 10.0 - Warlock's Tower

With great retro graphics, decently witty writing, and fiendish puzzle designs, players looking for an old-school challenge won’t be disappointed.

6.8 / 10.0 - Desert Child
Dec 18, 2018

I think that Oscar made a really smart game with Desert Child, with music to hum to and a graphic style that takes you back to hippest part of your past. It just turns out that it is not very fun.

It is flawed in so many ways but I just couldn’t put it down. This addictive gameplay is what saves Warhammer: Chaosbane.

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story is not the flashiest or most robust RPG around. But it does possess a lot of charm thanks to the unique setting and mixture of game styles.
