7 / 10.0 - Dead or Alive 6
Mar 2, 2019

Despite a lot of omissions, this still remains a fun fighting game to play with friends and there is hope that Koei Tecmo will add features in the near future. How much would that cost is a whole other story.

All things considered, it’s wonderful that ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove exists.

8 / 10.0 - Wargroove
Feb 21, 2019

Wargroove will undoubtedly please the majority of fans of the genre, but it is not without faults. Hopefully, this will bring life back to the turn-based tactics genre, and take it to new heights.

10 / 10.0 - Resident Evil 2
Feb 20, 2019

The amount of content goes above and beyond, offering much more than the original game ever did. Before The Ghost Survivors DLC, this may have been a 9.5, but now, as an even more complete package, Resident Evil 2 deserves the highest honor as a solid contender for "Game of the Year".

5.5 / 10.0 - Crackdown 3
Feb 19, 2019

Considering how short-lived both the campaign and multiplayer modes are, it’s astonishing this sequel took this long to come out. If you are a fan of the franchise, you’d find things to love here. Even then, it feels too little too late.

Degrees of Separation is quite a lovely game that fits right into the “hidden gem” category. Plenty of puzzles that lead to “aha” moments, gorgeous visuals the whole way through, and great music that will stay with you beyond your playthrough.

8 / 10.0 - JUMP FORCE
Feb 14, 2019

Overall, Jump Force feels a bit like Dragon Ball Xenoverse, but also feels like it doesn’t approach the level that Xenoverse achieved. The developers did want to make it accessible to all ages, however, and it feels like that was successful, so fans of the different series should enjoy the game.

If you enjoy role-playing games, then you should have quite a bit of fun with this title and, if you are a newcomer, it may even convince you to check out the prior games in the series.

Riot: Civil Unrest ends up being a classic case of a great idea, but lackluster execution. The game isn't fun or exciting to play, and honestly doesn't really feel like a game.

8 / 10.0 - Tetris 99

Tetris 99 had a clear focus to provide a simple multiplayer Tetris experience that, despite its simplicity, works extremely well.

10 / 10.0 - Apex Legends
Feb 13, 2019

It’s possible that Apex Legends could finally put the nail in the coffin of Fortnite’s reign over the genre. With updates and new content impending, Apex Legends is sure to keep players entertained for a long time to come.

Honestly, At Sundown: Shots in the Dark can be a rather entertaining party game, so if you enjoy multiplayer titles like this, then you should have fun with it. If, however, you’d prefer to play solo, you may want to pass, as taking down bots can become quite dull after a while.

6 / 10.0 - Melbits World
Feb 11, 2019

Melbits World was fun and delivered what I expected from it. Despite this, the lack of single player, the app requirement and the overall length of the game is somewhat disappointing.

Having entered the title with low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised to find an interesting story and engaging gameplay. The title should appeal to both fans and those who don’t care for the “Fanservice only” style of game that the series appeared to be heading into.

7 / 10.0 - God Eater 3
Feb 8, 2019

God Eater 3 doesn’t exactly bring anything brand new to the table and isn’t really technically groundbreaking, but it’s good for what it’s meant for. It’s a good Monster Hunter substitute with all the JRPG tropes in one package. It’s a game that feels rewarding and brings players back for more.

8.5 / 10.0 - Kingdom Hearts III
Feb 5, 2019

Kingdom Hearts III is a lot of things. One thing it definitely is not is a bad game. It's a solid entry to the series and can even bring about some strong emotions for those attached to the characters.

It’s an easy game to pick up, and even friends can join in the adventure as well. If you haven’t played a Tales game before, this is a really good jumping in point.

Overall, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a rather enjoyable game. It feels like those who are invested in the Warhammer 40K franchise will enjoy it far more, but newcomers should also find plenty to enjoy if they have fun taking battles into space.

Fans will likely love it, though newcomers will probably have to take time to adapt and get used to it. While it’s a little overwhelming, it’s not beyond reason, and with practice, most players should become a top pilot in the game.

While not quite as good as the introductory episode, Rules still stands strong. Held back by a decision that some might not even come across, it just goes to show how many paths one can take.
