Trek to Yomi is an incredibly beautiful tribute to old school Samurai movies, with some gorgeous cinematography, but unfortunately held back by an uneven and sometimes wonky combat system.

With a surprisingly branching narrative, satisfyingly intense combat and an amazing soundtrack, Triangle Strategy is a great treat for Tactical RPG fans, but the lack of customization and ways to meaningfully improve your character drag the experience down a bit.

At its best, Ghostwire: Tokyo shows us a world that is under siege by beings from the afterlife who can manipulate the spaces around them, distort reality and give us quite the scare. At its worst, which happens way too often, it leaves us to take care of busywork in an open world that needed to have a lot more thought put into it to really work.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land didn't blow me away, it's a simple and short game, and that plays into one of its strengths. While it could've been a little more coherent with it's visuals, and the level design could be a bit more open, the title works as a little puzzle platforming beat 'em up game that you can just boot up, play and relax.

Horizon Forbidden West is a visual masterpiece that improves on almost every thing from its successor and makes the experience more fun, although it has some shortcomings that are a bit disappointing.

Boasting an impressive combat system, Sifu excels in the gameplay department but some minor issues and the camera drag it down a bit from fulfilling its potential. Nonetheless a great beat-em-up with its unique concept coupled with impressive art direction.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy boasts remarkable storytelling, with great dialogue coupled with incredible visuals, unfortunately marred by an archaic structure and fun, but tiresome combat.

There's no denying that Metroid Dread is a solid game. But I'm still disappointed at how safe the studio decided to play with this game. While the gameplay is solid, everything else is just "ok" and there's no innovation, leaving me feeling that the newest sequel to Metroid should've felt more influential on the future of the genre it popularized.

Mario Party Superstars is the perfect party game to play with your family and friends this Christmas. There's a lot of content, a lot of variety and tons of fun to be had with its mini-games.

This Demon Slayer game is a great treat for fans, with an incredible recreation of the best scenes of the anime, but its short longevity and character roster makes the experience feel heavily lacking.

A must buy for long-time fans of the Yakuza series. Lost Judgment is a game full of content, with an incredibly enjoyable combat system and a story that whilst does not land with both feet in its execution, still shows some touching moments.

Death Stranding Director's Cut proves to be a considerable upgrade that streamlines the experience and adds new content, albeit a bit on the short side.

A visually charming adventure, with an unexpected challenging combat plagued by some technical issues and repetitive structure.

While Deathloop is overall entertaining thanks to its own way to slowly unfold the narrative around Blackreef with well crafted level design. It is held back by its terrible AI, lack of weapon variety and boring stealth.

In spite of a few issues, I enjoyed my time with Road 96 and its attempt to deal with a serious and delicate subject. I do think that the game's mechanics could've been more substantial to the story. Meaning the game did not live up to its full potential.

Nier Replicant™ ver.1.22474487139... manages to fix the issues that plagued the original release, but the PC port introduces a few new ones that can thankfully be solved by mods. It is, however, a beautiful work with a truly great soundtrack that deserves its place as a great story-driven game.

Village is a more action-focused evolution of Resident Evil VII. The combat is dynamic, the exploration is rewarding and its visuals can be stunning. Even though the game overstays its welcome and it doesn't improve on every aspect of the series, I'd still call it one of the best Resident Evil games yet.
