Hollow Knight is one of the diamonds born from the passion and dedication of independent software houses. Nothing to envy from any triple A title. An adventure that ignites the player's desire for knowledge by proposing a consolidated formula like the Metroidvania skillfully mixed with the Soulslike genre. Curiosity will push us to find all the answers in the game world and to overcome any frustration due to difficulty. Hand-made drawings and animations create a perfect union with the soundtrack in order to convey a sense of bewilderment and loneliness and then reach an extreme calmness on the finish. A title not to be missed, certainly to be recovered before the already announced sequel.

Days Gone is a really great product, especially regarding the plot and the characters, that leaves a sour taste. It could be another excellent game made by Playstation if it wasn’t for those flaws we just discussed. Sadly cause of bugs, and textures loaded too slowly, low frame rate and transictions that break the game rhythm, everything gets less enjoyable, even frustrating. Sony missed the chance to make a masterpiece, but there is definitively some chance to reach the perfection with Days Gone 2. There is everything necessary to start a new successful saga. In the end, we suggest you to play Days Gone, even if that means facing some issue. (Ps4 Pro owners will have less problems with frame rate)

Layers of Fear 2 goes up and down like a ship during a storm in the sea. There are evident falls in the gameplay and in the way the story is told and displayed. Even if is really hard for some players to catch the spirit of it, the general experience is still worth t be lived. The level design is rich of really clever solutions, the setting is dark and with a strong identity. The sounds effect are excellent, telling places and characters in a unique way. Layers of Fears builds frame by frame a cinematic view, following rules and style of the horror symbolism.

Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is definitely a great remake. A product cared for in every detail that keeps the soul of that CTR that we liked so much as children. Unfortunately time passes, although 20 years ago CTR was an original title, today it is not. The work of Beenox is very valuable and they tried to update the formula, where possible, at best but did not keep up with the main competitor Mario Kart. Some aspects and tracks have aged badly. CTR Nitro Fueled is still a great product and above all it remains in our hearts. I am delighted to be able to retrace my memories by going back to when I used to gas myself by hitting someone with a bomb.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is the perfect game for hi is accustomed to online adventures in the company of a few friends. Ubisoft promises continuous support for a long time, which makes the purchase of this title a real investment. Lone wolves stay away.

Call of Duty is back and is ready to recover the shooter king's scepter. Modern Warfare is the exaltation of the essence of this series, ready to counter the domination of the battle royale. The multiplayer offers multiple modes, each in its own interesting way. The campaign is among the most exciting that the series has ever offered us.

Spirit of the North is a contemplative indie adventure, which tells of a civilization lost through the wonderful lands inspired by Iceland and Nordic folklore. In addition to constant drops in frame-rates, the real sore point is gameplay. From a technical point of view it is impossible to ignore their big inaccuracies, but it would be a shame not to be able to put these problems aside and look beyond. In fact, the game has a lot to offer from other points of view. First of all, let yourself be enchanted by the loving journey of a fox and her friend, through fascinating and evocative landscapes.

The title is all in all well structured but there are obvious problems that affect the gameplay. The lack of realism in certain actions often lead to abandon the game or continue with little desire. But in the end the work done by the developers is discreet.

Beautiful racing simulation. Perhaps the most beautiful I have ever tried. Its wide variety of vehicles and tracks makes project cars 2 a game that is hardly boring. The well-defined audio and the cured graphic details make the game even more exciting.

In short, finding the light in an apparently insignificant reality seems to be the pivot on which the whole experience revolves. Street Fighter V Champion Edition is definitely the "definitive" version that all fans of the beloved Capcom fighting game series would have always wanted. "Immense" Roster, lots of clothes with which you can personalize your favorites and different game modes offline and online (although rarely continues to suffer from latency problems). The price of the stand alone bundle is perfectly in focus, with around € 30 you take home the base game plus 40 fighters, 200 costumes and many other interesting features. Completely different matter regarding the cost of the "upgrade kit", too high for those who already own one of the previous versions of Street Fighter V.

Resident Evil 3 Remake looks like an excellent title, enjoyable gameplay, but that excels in particular from the graphic point of view, presenting a lively Raccoon City, rich in details and with a practically perfect character design. Unfortunately, the paucity of extra content and the reduced duration of the main quest, make Resident Evil 3 Remake a title not suitable for everyone, especially for fans who expected a faithful reproduction of the events of the original title for PlayStation released in 1999. The addition of Resident Evil: Resistance to the sales bundle partially manages to make up for the reduced longevity of the security, but not to fully justify the excessive selling price.

Warzone silences all skeptics who gave battle-royale by declining genre. Infinity Ward introduces few but winning innovations that make their product perhaps one of the most complete on the market. Malloppo and Battle-Royale deserve two separate talks, but if we see the first as a simple extension of the second and not as a central element, Warzone reaches an evaluation close to perfection. Pay-to-win element as nonexistent as the genre has accustomed us.

Daymare 1998 was a good game overall, with suggestive locations and excellent background ideas, which however tend to fail due to a not very satisfying and quite cumbersome combat system, especially as regards the management of inventory and ammunition. Furthermore, despite the fact that Invader Studios' declaration of love for the horror films of the 1990s turns out to be more than appreciable, the three-year delay in console porting shows several graphic deficits, especially after the recent remakes of RE 2 and RE 3.

Streets of Rage 4 succeeds in the arduous task of representing the best of the genre to which it belongs. The developers had the ability to innovate this genre without turning it into anything else. The story can be completed in about 3/4 hours but once finished, the desire to replay it with another character is really great.

Green Hell is a very well packaged product. It offers new ideas for the survival genre, reinventing mechanics already seen and introducing new ones: the nutritional classification of food or the diagnosis. Despite the indie mold it shows the muscles from a technical point of view.

The intent of Crucible is very noble, but the result is a job that can hardly have its say in the shooter market. The promised originality consists in a smoothie of ideas taken from games already on the market; the final flavor is as immature as it is anonymous: postponed to September.

Valorant is what competitive players have been waiting for for some time. The union of the classic conception of shooters with new trends. The Riot title enhances the skills of the individuals, thanks to the technical skills required and the mastery of the agents' skills, but above all it emphasizes the synergy of the team. Victory and defeat do not depend on chance, but on the decisions of the players.
