Despite its lack of innovation and that it does not add anything that we have not seen before, Voices of Cards is a game that knows how to stay fresh and fun thanks to its story, dialogues and an attractive and functional combat system that does not we want to stop until we complete it. The soundtrack and its artistic design are also noteworthy and make up some of the best elements of this title.

Witchtastic is a fun bet where we will get into the shoes of a witch who will have to make different potion recipes and deliver them before time runs out. It is ideal for cooperative play.

85 / 100 - Gleylancer

Gleylancer is a 2D side-advance shoot 'em up that was originally released in 1992. 70 / 100 - Get Packed
Oct 29, 2021

Get Packe: Fully Loaded is quite an entertaining game to play with friends, with a nice and fun visual aspect. Despite this, the physics leave a little to be desired and the variety of scenarios is a bit repetitive compared to other similar games.

Raiden IV x MIKADO remix is the most complete version of Raiden IV. It groups together the extras and game modes of the previous versions of this fourth installment, and also adds interesting options such as the TATE mode to get more out of our vertical Nintendo Switch, and of course the star of this edition, a new soundtrack produced by the prestigious Japanese arcade game center Mikado with the participation of artists from the world-class Arcade scene. A must for lovers of Raiden and shoot 'em up.

Project Zero Maiden of Black Water suffers from the problems derived from an adaptation that has forced the elimination of the characteristics that made it unique, but, despite this, any lover of classic-flavored horror has a winning bet here.

Aquarium Designer is a very good idea, especially for fish lovers: having the aquarium that we want, with a variety of fish that we may or may not have in our real life and that we are allowed to decorate it to our liking. But the short duration of the campaign, the small amount of content, and some problems in its interface subtract from a game that, on the other hand, does not do wrong what it wants to do, which is to make you feel like an aquarium designer. Within a few patches it may be a more than remarkable game if we like the theme.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut presents us with a different bet where the classic mechanics of role-playing games are mixed with a unique script that will provide us with a large number of hours of entertainment where decision-making will be crucial in our adventure. With this final version there is no longer an excuse to face this excellent adventure.

I really would have liked to give Epistory - Typing Chronicles a higher grade. It seems to me a very nice game and with a very good idea behind it, but I do not think it acceptable that something as basic as moving around the stage works so badly when using a traditional controller, and also that the original game arrived in Spanish and its port a Not Nintendo Switch.

95 / 100 - Metroid Dread
Oct 27, 2021

Metroid Dread is without a doubt one of the best Nintendo Switch titles. A return in the form of Samus, and a blow on the table by Mercury Steam that have given birth to a superb game that does not envy any other game of the genre. Well designed, replayable, agile control ... Metroid Dread is a must.

Dungeon Encounters is an RPG that goes beyond the norm and offers us a title where minimalism is elevated to the maximum expression. The lack of work on the visuals and the plot makes it a difficult game to digest, but the combat system is well worked and the tile system is entertaining.

65 / 100 - The Good Life
Oct 26, 2021

The Good Life is the new work by Yukio Futatsugi and Hidetaka 'Swery' Suehiro although we will see many more typical elements of the latter's games. We will have to uncover the secrets hidden in the British town of Rainy Woods while enjoying a whole country life simulator. Too bad the end result is clouded by an obvious lack of rhythm and somewhat debatable playable mechanics. Despite everything, The Good Life is worth a look, especially if we like Swery's work.

75 / 100 - Metallic Child
Oct 22, 2021

METALLIC CHILD is a title with a very interesting alien rebellion, it combines this good narrative with good combat mechanics and a great technical section. It is a pity that the set of combos is very limited and the control is quite rough at times, making combat difficult but that quality / price is a more than recommended title for lovers of the genre.

80 / 100 - Growbot
Oct 21, 2021

The world of illustrator Lisa Evans comes to life in this colorful and detailed adventure game. Its gameplay relies on narrative and puzzles instead of taking the path of conventional adventure games, and although it does nothing that has not been seen before, it knows how to do it very well.

In a curious combination of mechanics and even genres, the use of two very different characters creates a well resolved and interesting style of gameplay. Puzzles, platforming, stealth... wrapped by a setting and artwork that combines the fascinating with the tenebrous in a very well balanced adventure with personality.

Crytek comes back to our screens with Crysis Remastered Trilogy where we can enjoy the three main installments of the saga but where we have missed the inclusion of Crysis Warhead which, despite being a parallel story, was very popular with the public. A perfect opportunity to get to know this franchise that became a technical reference in its time and also with a very fun playable base.

From A Night at the Races I liked the way in which Mushy Jukebox has introduced a story in a genre not too used to it, accompanied by an artistic and sound section of a very good level. Simple but effective. The duration of the levels is perfect for the portability of Nintendo Switch. Of course, the standard difficulty frustrates more than one.

STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a delivery that adds nothing to the Switch and PC versions. It is an entertaining and pleasant game to which we return regularly to relax a bit, but at the level of mechanics and depth it remains on the surface compared to other games of the same genre.
