Pokémon Sword and Shield are titles that polish the base gameplay of Pokémon in a fantastic way but make a series of inexplicable mistakes that tarnish an experience that should have been magical.

60 / 100 - Hoggy 2
Dec 23, 2019

Hoggy 2 is a puzzle game that leaves us with more negative than positive feelings, largely because of its poor mechanics based on trial and error, causing constant tedium soon after the game. The difficulty of the puzzles is not bad at all and offers a challenge to match, plus the inclusion of a level editor to put our imagination to work. It's not a bad game but there are better options.

70 / 100 - Let's Sing 2020
Dec 20, 2019

Let's Sing 12 is a game that current pop fans will enjoy very much, especially when in the company of friends. In addition, the possibility of using our smartphones as voice input eliminates one of the natural barriers to entry for this type of game, such as the need to buy microphones.

Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 - The Crystal Menhir is a game that doesn't feel necessary from a saga that saw its two releases in the 128-bit generation. It is not very well understood why the game has been rescued from the trunk of memories, and why it has done so by changing the style of play for an air view beat'em up, but although the game fails to stand out at all, its simple control and the interesting proposal of some of their levels can entertain enough, especially to fans, who will know how to find the added value to the game.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is a great game marred by a half-done port for Nintendo Switch. More than 100 hours of play weighed down by poor control, glitches, bugs, and lousy performance in a game from 17 years ago.

85 / 100 - Alien: Isolation
Dec 13, 2019

Alien: Isolation was a very positive surprise when it was launched in 2014 and five years later it still is on the Nintendo console. Possibly it is the game that does more justice to the xenomorph franchise, it will know how to keep us in tension and get scared on more than one occasion, although the high duration of the title and the repetition of situations subtract some of them. In spite of everything, if you are a fan of the franchise, and horror games are your favourite genre, do not miss the opportunity.

Respawn Entertaiment has given us one of the surprises of the year with this title, a fun, long and very varied game in its development. It takes concepts from several well-known titles and mixes them in an impressive way leaving a very good taste in the mouth. Against it they play some graphic problems, an unimpressive story and a very badly rewarded backtraking, but they don't get to tarnish the quality of this title. If you are a fan of the universe created by George Lucas, Jedi Fallen Order is a must.

Transport Fever 2 is a great management game with a great campaign and a very high level of micro-management. Only its performance problems and certain debatable decisions at quality of life level prevent it from achieving the excellence. But still, game totally recommended for those who enjoy tycoon games, and worthy heir of the Transport Tycoon saga.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is a good visual novel that can serve as a good aperitif while we wait for Bloodlines 2. Some great secondary characters and high level of writing defines a game marked by a somewhat decaffeinated main story.

Terminator Resistance is a surprise in many ways, and a pleasant surprise. It sees the light in parallel with the new canonical installment in the cinema but it travels in opposite ways. Although the film establishes a new future that has not satisfied the majority, many of whom believe that it works better as an action film than as a installment of the saga, Terminator Resistance by contrast brings us into that future announced in the first installments, and although it works as an independent game to the setting, it works much better as a Terminator game giving it a plus of enjoyment for all lovers of the saga.

VD-Games has done it again. Since they began their journey, they have dedicated themselves to squeezing every nanometer of silicon from the machines they program for, and this time it was Switch's turn. But Rise: Race the Future is not only a nice game, it is a fun game, which lacks some details to be more rounded but which is worth taking a while.

85 / 100 - Planet Zoo
Dec 6, 2019

Planet Zoo has come on the market with some problems, but they are mostly solved. What we have right now is a huge management game, with a considerable amount of content and a very bright future. If you buy Planet Zoo you won't go wrong, and I'm sure the animals will thank you for it.

75 / 100 - Space Pioneer
Dec 5, 2019

Space Pioneer is a twin stick shooter that has made its journey from smartphones to consoles properly. Lovers of the genre will find frantic action in abundance and a complete system of improvements and skills that will delight the player while kill the enemy hordes. He has lacked a bit of ambition in the audiovisual section, but it is worth giving it a try.

Superepic is a particular game that doesn't hesitate to make a joke of the current state of the video game industry. We are in front of a metroidvania with a usual gameplay in the genre, with good graphic and sound section although the mapping design and some stays could be better. Its zero difficulty is going to disappoint the most demanding users. The best thing, without a doubt, is the use of the mobile phone and its application to the game itself.

70 / 100 - Mosaic
Dec 5, 2019

Mosaic is an interactive story that puts us in the shoes of a worker who is tired of his life. In the form of a virtual walk, he will tell us a story in which we will guide our character. In spite of its goodness and the attraction of its approach, it ends up being a bit monotonous and repetitive, so that we do not manage to connect completely with the story or the protagonist. The gameplay is restricted to walking and nothing else, seasoned with some mini-games that despite being fun, do not get to hook completely. Fans of the walking simulator will enjoy it quite a lot.

Who can we get on the Case? We need Perry......No, not a lawyer, we need a cop, who will do what needs to be done, the right thing or the effective thing? Protect and serve with the law at our side, or at any price that can be demanded? Interrogation is going to make us not only choose and play but even ask ourselves what kind of morals we have, and how much we should trust them.

We are facing a new installment of the already emblematic and veteran sports management saga developed by Sports Interactive, and it does not disappoint. Without being a revolution in any section, it is certainly an evolution in many of them. Some defects from previous years continue to drag, such as absurd situations in the match engine, the null evolution in the management of set pieces, and, as a minor problem, for having an easy solution, team and player licenses. These defects do not tarnish what is an outstanding product and that is still highly recommended for fans of this type of game.

90 / 100 - Death Stranding
Dec 3, 2019

Death Stranding is a brave proposal of Hideo Kojima that shakes the foundations of the triple A games with an author's title, where the Japanese creative has had a carte blanche to capture all the creative elements he has wanted and more, and especially giving it a very human touch when sharing with the player his own experiences and his fear of loneliness. Audiovisually impeccable, the game is not without problems, although it is not uncommon to minimize them if we get gripped by the true essence of the title: CONNECT

Surprise considering the background of the saga. Fortunately, good sales have led to it continuing to end up leaving the game at hand. A game that gives us enough freedom on the routes to choose and more than expected in the way to face its playable proposal, away from the typical corseted games full of scripts that force you to perform the actions in a single possible way. And the best thing is that you can change the way you play as you feel like, at any time, depending on your desire for infiltration, tactics, or go a little more on board. Although it does not shine so much in every aspect and way of playing, the mixture is good, it leaves you with a good taste in your mouth, and the desire to repeat.

Warlocks 2: God Slayers is a simply correct game. The many bugs that we will find in it weigh down a game that has good ideas, but if it had had a few more months of development, it would have been better stopped.
