The Forest nails the mechanics for a survival game allowing us to explore and experience the main story at our own pace while we understand every mechanic each time we die. Unfortunately the story is quite forgettable and rather non sensical most of the time.

Even without the physical instrument, Taiko no Tatsujin Drum ‘n’ Fun! is a wonderful game and a great “port” of the popular japanese game. Even with the not so good motion controls, is definitely a great party and multiplayer game.

After feeling stale since Soul Calibur IV, the new game not only feels like a reboot with the classic mechanics keeping it's strong cast of characters, but also a fun game. That being said, if you compare it to other fighting games, in the narrative department feels a little bit lacking.

Treyarch new approach to the Black Ops franchise is a hit and miss. Without a doubt is a great FPS and the inclusion of Blackout is a great idea to mix things up, but the lack of campaign definitely affects the whole package since it may have interesting characters, but leaves them no ground to explore or grow.

Diablo III: Eternal Collection makes up for a lot of years since Blizzard released a game in a Nintendo's console. Not only is the complete package and the best way to experience the game, but the game runs pretty well at 60fps and strong visuals even in handheld mode.

With a forgettable Story but a strong team or characters, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an interesting experience with good mechanics and a different approach to the “toys to life” that made games like Skylanders and Disney Infinity popular on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Gardens Between is a great adventure about time and friendship. Even with it's simple mechanics, some puzzles will need all our attention to be easily solved. Unfortunately more often than not, the puzzles can feel repetitive and and not as fun as before.

Dark Souls Remastered is not only a great addition to the Switch growing library, but also the idea of finally having the game on-the-go enhance the experience even more. Although the game performance in the Nintendo console, left something to be desired.

Even if can feel a little bit grindy, Assassin's Creed Odyssey keeps the great job “refreshing” the franchise. The game keeps the collectathon that's part of every Ubisoft game but the inclusion of characters Cassandra y Alexios gives enough variety to keep playing the campaign.

After a great campaign, Spider-Man first DLC feels pretty underwhelming. Even if adds new challenges and the chance of getting every suit in the game (in case you couldn't get it on the main story), doesn't feel necessary as other story content you can find in single player games.

With a new cast and a whole new different setting, Life is Strange 2 starts small but hints to an adventure bigger than we ever imagined. Again Dontnod tries to tackle different topics like race and police brutality.

Supergiant first game finally arrives to Nintendo Switch. Even if you already played it in different platforms, Bastion keeps its charm thanks to a beautiful art direction, powerful music and voice acting.

Marvel's Spider-Man is the pinnacle in terms of superhero games. With a stellar gameplay and one of the most emotional stories we've seen in the genre, the wall crawler game is one of the best PlayStation Exclusives of the generation.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is not only the best game of the new trilogy, but also one with the best characters. The setting of the game sound bonkers most of the time but is definitely a great experience even for someone that didn't enjoyed Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Sabotage first game not only is a love letter to the genre, but also one of the greatest games of the year. The Messenger is a tough but fair game that charms the players with the story and it's characters. Also tries to break new ground in the genre with some of the mechanics we found in the game.

Phantom Doctrine takes an interesting approach to the tactical genre, not only tries to distance itself from XCOM, but shows some peculiar ideas related to espionage and counter-intelligence agents.

An already great Beat'Em Up receives a worthy sequel. Guacamelee! 2 not only improves the original game but also creates a funnier and better story, also the new powers and “game modes” are a welcome change and brings fresh ideas to the table.

OneBitBeyond game is not only a charming roguelike, but also an interesting addition to an already great formula. Even if the game can feel a little childish at times and isn't as tough as other games in the genre, some mechanics are quite different of what we've seen and some are deeper than you think.

God of War not only remind us why Kratos is one of the most emblematic characters of the PlayStation brand, but also there's a lot of changes you can do in a established franchise. Not only the gameplay changes are great but also Santa Monica finally transformed the greek god into a compelling character.

Minit is a curious concept that is well executed, even if the One-Minute mechanic might not be for everyone is a curious experiment that pays off in a lot of ways and definitely shouldn't work as well. For fans of the classic Zelda games, this one is worth checking out.
