THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake is an excellent remake in the true sense of the word. It falls short in some corners such as longevity, new content or even the lack of a proprietary online mode, making it hard to justify the asking price at launch. It is, however, still a fun experience with the frantic pace at which the levels progress and the new unlockable weapons. Given the simplicity of the title and how faithful it is to the arcade experience, you need to set your expectations correctly before hitting the buy button.

7 / 10.0 - Final Vendetta
Jun 27, 2022

Final Vendetta is the closest 90's classic arcade beat 'em up you'll find being released today. This is a challenging and sometimes frustrating title, ideal for the hardcore fans of the genre who want the ultimate challenge of the old school arcade experience.

Kao the Kangaroo returns playing it safe, preferring to establish a solid base rather than start branching out into concepts right away, which is perfectly acceptable. With a humble entry, it has high and low points, yet it can't help but be in the portfolio of genre lovers for several fun sessions.

Deliver Us The Moon is a game that, despite its simplicity and extreme linearity that doesn't give the player much freedom of exploration, brings a memorable and immersive experience, whose story captures the player's attention as many others fail to do.

Bright Memory: Infinite is a tech demo full of potential, with amazing gameplay and visuals. At a highly acceptable price, this frenetic experience even without narrative substance, delivers a constant action that will leave you at least 1.5 hours clinging to the screen eliminating everything that moves.

While the change from 2D to 3D graphics was not to everyone's liking, for fans Disgaea 6 Complete represents that favorite dish you always order at the same restaurant, now with a slightly different flavor. Even with some modifications to (at least) get newcomers to complete the main story, those who are not fans of the property will most likely not be converted. It is, however, still a good video game and a good experience for those who enjoy tactical RPGs.

7 / 10.0 - ANNO: Mutationem
Sep 12, 2022

A game with an interesting visual and soundtrack that makes you want to play, the experience on the Switch deserves a positive note and we can count on a great indie game, different from what we are used to. The grade is less good for translation errors and some frame drops, on Nintendo Switch.

7 / 10.0 - Isonzo
Sep 19, 2022

Although it does not feature exceptional graphics quality, nor a large amount of content, Isonzo is definitely recommended for those who like to have a little bit of realism and immersion in their shooters.

In the same way that "Daniel Aço'zinho" took a delirious twenty-second beating or how the Mortal Queen user suffered with an accidental ambulance in his trunks, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R delivers worthy moments during one-page fights from Araki's works, always keeping the fighting video game context in mind. Not only does it come across as a product that breathes and exudes fanservice; the ultimate package for fans of the property, but also as an extremely competent and inviting fighter for novices (to a certain extent) without ever forgetting those who demand a greater challenge. I admit that All Star Battle R lacks rollback netcode, a robust story or a greater variety in offline modes, but it makes up for it in so many other areas that I only have one last suggestion: if you are not yet a fan of the franchise then it's time to give the anime and/or manga a chance, convert and try this title as a celebration of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the most bizarre Japanese adventure ever.

7 / 10.0 - Battlefield 2042
Sep 23, 2022

Approximately one year after its release, Battlefield 2042 is no longer the BETA that was presented to us in the initial product, and is now starting to gain more solidity and competitiveness in the fps market, even if it is a few notches below its predecessors.

7 / 10.0 - LEGO Bricktales
Oct 31, 2022

Although it is a simple game with many flaws, it brings exactly what is needed in a LEGO game, which is the eternal fun of building models with the pieces in order to accomplish the extremely creative puzzles that LEGO Bricktales contains.

7 / 10.0 - Virtuoso
Apr 5, 2022

Virtuoso is virtual reality music creation software. With 6 instruments including drums, microphone, and an organ, and a handful of settings we can use to play with notes and tempos, it feels like Virtuoso is just the tip of the iceberg of its capabilities. Hopefully Really Interactive still has a long road map to deliver us more instruments and ways to express our creativity through music.

7.1 / 10.0 - Shadow Legend VR
Feb 6, 2020

Shadow Legend presents itself as filling a gap in the VR sector of video games, fulfilling a task but not dazzling. With a relatively short story, simple gameplay and visuals that do not amaze but fulfill the objective, we found a very satisfying experience, which will make us feel that we are moving more and more into the games.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water provides a very effective atmosphere, with good scares and chills, and is unfortunately consumed by constant repetition, losing much or all of its "charm" in the final chapters.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is an entry that embraces new visitors, keeping a simple narrative and focusing mostly on visual attraction. However, we find the same repetitive formula that characterizes the saga, almost feeling like we are playing an MMORPG. Nevertheless, it is smoothly presented and appealing to RPG lovers.

7.2 / 10.0 - Little Orpheus
Sep 29, 2022

Little Orpheus brings us the adventure of Ivan Ivanovich, a character we know little or nothing about, but we want so much to understand how he got where he is. With simple gameplay and an interesting narrative, it is undoubtedly a title for new players and lovers of the genre.

Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief is a very original game, combining Stealth with a scoring system from action games, making it have a faster and more frenetic gameplay. A simple and fun game, that suffers a bit from the simple remastering and some inconsistencies in the mechanics.

7.4 / 10.0 - Slipstream
Apr 19, 2022

Slipstream is without a doubt a more than worthy homage to arcade racing games. Not only an excellent tribute, but a beautiful game in itself, accompanied by a price that justifies the bet. Fans of the genre will not be disappointed, having here another game that will bring them countless sessions of fun, whether solo or with friends.

Ganryu 2 lives up to its predecessor, presenting itself with some tailor-made differences by Storybird Studio. A constant challenge to our patience and concentration, with a fair duration that more than justifies the price asked. Without a doubt a title to be considered for lovers of the genre and/or the saga.

Modern Warfare II capitalizes on the campaign of its predecessor but fails to give it irreverence. It relies on its strong gameplay to build visually incredible action sequences, but fails to provide risky moments and narratives. The truth is that they say that in a winning team you don't move, and here you find a quality shooter.
