Resident Evil 4 builds upon the already successful foundation of its predecessors to reimagine one of the most iconic games. This is a remake that has recreated the original while also respecting its charm and defining elements. Overall, it will leave fans mesmerized while also coming back for more.

Persona 4 Golden is akin to observing an artist’s work that serves as a bridge between their early work and their magnum opus. It was a stepping stone between the earlier games and what would become Persona 5. At the same time, it’s a time capsule that perfectly captures the culture and lifestyle of the 2000’s.

Raiden IV x MIKADO Remix is the arcade classic that gamers love along with bonus content to enhance the overall experience. It has the defining elements of the iconic vertical scrolling shooter while also being rich in replay value. Do expect to enjoy playing this with a friend (but there is nothing wrong with going solo).

Yeah Yeah Beebiss II wants to introduce the history of a lost game to a greater audience while capturing the essence of the 8-bit era. It has succeeded at doing both of those with one work of art. If you grew up playing such games or if you’re a fan of retro games then this is an experience you shouldn’t miss.

Samurai Maiden is a fun but also flawed hack’n slash that embraces all the beloved anime tropes. On one hand, it’s a fun over the top game with mesmerizing visuals. On the other hand, it has flaws that should not exist in such a game.

No More Heroes III is another elegantly crafted love letter to otaku culture and gamers but with the action cranked up to 10. Travis Touchdown is back for another over-the-top adventure. For those of us who waited for its premier on the PC and other consoles, it has been worth the wait.

Video Game Fables is a homage to classic JRPGs while also wanting to deconstruct and parody the genre tropes. In doing has resulted in a fun experience that gamers will enjoy. This is truly a solid experience developed by one person.

Gundam Evolution takes a classic concept and repurposes it into a hero shooter that also hits all the right marks. Fans will be battling each other with their favorite mobile suit in a familiar setup. It has some shortcomings but they are ones that can be resolved over time.
