Devil May Cry 5 is a successful sequel and will make series fans happy. The campaign offers some 15 to 20 hours of decent action and good (superficial) entertainment, on a decent level that is usual for the series. In addition, there are again a lot of secret missions, challenges and (for fans) a given replay value. Technically without flaws and presentable you can say - so far everything done right! A little more plot and especially more narrative content in the cutscenes wouldn't have hurt anyway. A more varied mission design would have been desirable. Nevertheless fans will say: It rocks, it bucks - is gambled to the drop!

All in all Level-5 has created a solid game that will find and keep its fans in the West. The partly short missions are good for short sessions, but you also like to sit at the switch for a longer time to hunt in Snack World. In TV mode, the Grinder was much more fun for us than mobile. This is certainly due to the camera being too rigid. This is our point of criticism for "Numero Uno" and has often caused freaks, because you can't focus your opponents properly. Apart from that, the full-price title is a lot of fun and shines especially in multiplayer with friends. Especially positive is the fact that there were no lags or aborts online. As friends of Amiibo, it's a pity that support has been completely removed. The expensive NFC collectibles are simply not being used enough!

Yes, Warrior's Orochi 4 Ultimate sticks to its principles. You shred your way through masses of enemy hordes and get an increasingly strong troop. The game principle is clear and simple. The total package brings a lot of features that were necessary. Especially the aspect that you can now exchange the holy treasures is something I wanted. The story around Gaia and Hades brings new life into the otherwise boring plot. If you haven't bought Warrior's Orochi 4 yet and you have a preference for the genre, you can confidently go for the Ultimate version.

Rune Factory 4 Special takes the player into a magical world full of adventure and challenges. If you want to fill your virtual existence with fieldwork and explore the story of Selphia, the game will not disappoint you. The learning process is slow and steady, so that the player is not overwhelmed. When you've had enough of gardening, you swing on an animal and ride through the wilderness, beating up some monsters. The fighting could have been a little more challenging, but Rune Factory 4 Special doesn't want that. The title shines with a mix of simulation and RPG elements. This appeals to people who may not otherwise be involved with JRPGs. The new features are well done, especially the synchronisation is impressive. The developer would have liked to add some more graphic elements. The sprites look partly not well ported. If you feel like a fine mixture of Harvest Moon and JRPG, you will definitely get your money's worth.

A little P.T. here, a little Layers Of Fear there, a little Project Zero there - the mix in Infliction is just perfect. Clean graphics, bombastic sound and a good portion of psycho-horror let the debut album Infliction become a top 10 title of the genre. It is to be hoped that developer Clinton McCleary will remain true to the horror genre and provide us with even more atmospheric games of this kind. So. lights out! Headphones on! And off into the darkest, psychic abysses!

In fact, Let's Sing 2020 with German hits hardly differs technically from its predecessor. Accordingly, the pros and cons are quite identical. Fans of the series should treat themselves to the current version, because the song selection is again quite appealing (although this is subjective). Maybe it would be nice to have a kind of Season Pass, with which you can get the new songs as a package and don't have to buy at least one medium or download every year. Nobody wants to change the disc every few songs and reload them, as it used to be the case with Singstar, although this will have to happen less often in 2020. SING ON!

Heroland has good approaches, but does not implement them optimally. The story around Lucky as a leisure guide is successful and has fun moments. But the highlight is definitely the cuddly cardboard graphics. The lack of freedom while playing was especially annoying. Be it in the dungeon where you just jump from one field to the next, or the amusement park with its eight key places. Also in the area of character development one could have come up with something more. The fights in the dungeon itself, were good from the basic idea. I think this mixture of AI based attacks with Coach System is not bad. Here the importance of Lucky's intervention should have been more in the foreground.

Not much negative has been noticed. In the game there is only one collectible in the memories. Unfortunately, these small works of art only minimally awaken the discovery value of remote places, so you don't always want to deviate from the main path. Sometimes the controls get a little stuck and the camera perspective is not always an advantage, because some distances to be crossed are not easy to estimate and more often you fall into (deadly) darkness. So you often start again from a memory point. But these are set very fair. Frustrating moments did not occur. Since there is also the possibility of local co-op mode, I will definitely play it again. The two of you will take this emotional journey once again and enjoy the story to the fullest. One player controls the man and the other manipulates time. So you have to trust and coordinate with each other. A certainly beautiful, but also challenging journey. With Arise: A simple story you get for 19,99 € an atmospheric game, which becomes a real surprise with an emotional story, exciting gameplay and loving details.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore provides solid JRPG performance. The story is exciting until the end. The crisp difficulty level remains challenging, but never unfair. I could really let myself fall during my several hours of travel in colorful Tokyo. This is also due to the fact that the parallel worlds were thematically wonderfully designed. Unfortunately, you can see that the ravages of time gnawed at the title. The graphics were not changed in the Encore version. There is also only a Japanese voice output. At least an English voice over could have been implemented here. JRPG fans will love Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. Even people who have played the game before should consider buying it again thanks to the new dungeons, story missions and costumes.

She Sees Red offers solid thriller fare with good actors. The replay value is quite high due to the four offered endings. With a price of 2,99 € one does not do anything wrong here - despite the bad German subtitles.

Even seven years after its release Torchlight II still knows how to please, the game has aged well. The typical loot system works wonderfully on the home consoles. The porting is successful except for the equipment area. The story cannot convince one hundred percent with the few twists and surprises, but it doesn't have to. Since the story is finished after a good twenty hours, in the end game you only concentrate on the optimal equipment anyway. Torchlight II can still be played today, as long as you don't have elaborate textures or detailed graphics.

Let's not beat about the bush: The Sims 4: Realm of Magic is a solid gameplay pack. I will certainly spend many pleasant hours with it. Nevertheless I would have expected much more from the world "Glimmerbrook" for example. Somehow I didn't find the whole town thoughtfully and lovelessly designed. The realm of magic was completely different. It's a pity, though, that the realm is not really meant for living, since there are neither beds nor a possibility to make something to eat. Unfortunately I felt a bit like cheating while playing with my mage. Brewing a need potion was a bit too easy for me and was, in my opinion, also granted to me much too fast. Also the fact that you only need one apple for this does not make things much more difficult. Nevertheless I have a lot of fun with learning all the spells and potions. I have waited far too long for the pack to not be happy about it now.

Let's not beat about the bush: The Sims 4: Island Life is one of the best add-ons EA has released. With the numerous new objects, outfits, the beautiful island of Sulani and the new careers, you won't get bored so quickly. The many details that have been incorporated into this beautiful world will stay in my memory for a long time. I also noticed that even the islanders behave differently than in the other worlds. Sulani has a much more open and friendly environment, and that's what makes playing so enjoyable. Every time I turn on the Sims, I feel like I'm on vacation. And if that's not enough for you, I'll mention it again: SEA BOY WOMEN! If you have the basic game at your disposal and are thinking about which expansion you should treat yourself to next, I highly recommend "Island Living". You really can't go wrong with this.

The first question I always ask myself when testing various Sonic Racing titles is, why does the world's fastest hedgehog have to master various race tracks with a race car? Unfortunately, this question is not answered until the end of the game. Nevertheless, Team Sonic Racing remains an average fun racer where there is potential for more. The fact that you can help your comrades and thereby get bonuses yourself is very well done. Unfortunately some AI friends are so badly programmed that you lose because of them and the frustration level rises. My highlight in the game were the different modes. It's fun not always having to drive a Grand Prix. The various challenges are well chosen and demanding. Unfortunately the Nintendo Switch version has such immense frame rate drops and lags in the online mode that you should consider buying the game on Nintendo's handheld. Team Sonic Racing is fun, but is definitely no competition for Mario Kart!

What should one think of Tropico 6? What can it do and what can it possibly not do? From my personal point of view, Limbic Entertainment delivered a great game on their Tropico debut. Graphically, it is a treat thanks to the Unreal Engine. Untypical for the genre it is possible to rotate the camera completely free, tilt it and zoom extremely close. The sound and the background music are also very nice. The processes under the hood are logical and, unlike in the beta, not very faulty or comprehensible for the player. The merchandise system and the production chains are obvious and conclusive even for beginners. Nevertheless, despite the very good tutorial, there will be a lot of learning and frustration for newcomers to the series or even genre. The wealth of buildings, as well as the dictatorial and diplomatic possibilities are immense. This mass can be quite overwhelming for one or the other. But since Penúltimo and the other characters present the whole thing with a lot of humor, the fun is at least for me not lost at any time. Especially in the later course of the game it gets confusing very quickly due to the large number of participants (superpowers and factions). I personally have to take a break more often and sort the events for me. But this does not harm the game. A big weak point is the character creation, if you followed the review carefully you will notice that it wasn't mentioned before. And not without reason, it is simply unimaginative and boring, almost boring. This was always one of the biggest strengths in the previous reviews. Here Limbic was just sleeping, maybe they also ran out of time. Except for the small weaknesses in road building and the wasted potential in character creation and palace adaptation, Tropico 6 is a typical Tropico. Very simple thing. A class (Tropico) debut of the Hessians. For my part, I will now go back to the Caribbean in my mind. ¡Nos vemos!

My time in Portia was longer than I thought, because the game captivated me. The mixture of exploring and working on the field has become optimal. In My Time at Portia you don't have to watch the fields all the time. Because of the time gained, I was able to focus more on exploration. The world of My Time at Portia offers so much to discover and I wanted to see everything! The story has been well integrated into the overall game structure. You can't see the post-apocalyptic scenario in the game, but if you delve deeper, you can see the former world at every corner. What you can give credit to My Time at Portia is the fact that the game has been completely translated into German. Here and there there are gaps where there are still English text passages, but these are rarely seen and don't disturb the flow of the game. Also you can see the game's PC past, because the gamepad controls are very spongy in some places. You can also see this when you search or select something in the menu. All in all, My Time at Portia is a wonderful game with a few quirks. If you want to play a solid simulation game with an exploration factor, My Time at Portia will definitely give you a good time.

Alvastia Chronicles offers a story with ups and downs, unexpected twists and turns and surprise. You wouldn't expect this title to show that, but I was well entertained throughout. I especially liked the wealth of characters that can be recruited. At every corner of the world, you can find more friends. This feature indirectly forces you to deal with the world. It should be noted that there is no synchronization of the characters, so everything has to be read. Here you have to unpack your English knowledge, because there is no German translation. I also enjoyed the variety of the different characters. If you want to make friends with barrels or trees, this is no problem in Alvastia Chronicles. The fights are well designed throughout, but the random fights are just annoying from a certain point on. It feels like there are just too many in too short a time. A nice side note is that towards the end of the game, you're pretty overleveled, so the end boss shouldn't be a problem. If you're looking for a solid JRPG with collection factor, you'll have a lot of fun with Alvastia Chronicles!

Intruders: Hide And Seek is a completely new claustrophobic experience. Just the idea of being chased by violent intruders in your own home as a young boy is bad enough - and here you can experience it all at first hand. The conversion to VR makes the feeling of anxiety and fear eat all the deeper into the player's brain. Intruders: Hide And Seek is great (psycho) cinema!

Conarium is a successful, playable H.P. Lovecraft story. The game can be mastered without major problems, but doesn't rely on hard head shots in gameplay and puzzles. Conarium is a classic point & click adventure with a playing time of about four to five hours, which convinces by its atmospheric implementation.
