Critic Reviews for Paper Dolls: Original
Paper Dolls Original borrows every horror trope under the sun, but fails to implement them in any meaningful way.
Paper Dolls: Original have a nice concept, interesting puzzles and well-reproduced atmosphere of horror, which is broken by stupid QTEs, inconvenient save system, not always clear tasks and completely useless game of hide and seek with an immortal pursuer. And, of course, the need to wait for new episodes will leave many unsatisfied. However, if you are hungry for the genre, you can try.

Paper Dolls Original isn't the scariest horror game, but it's a solid attempt from a restricted studio and it does have some charm.
This is a game which gets me hoping that there is something like it, but better, out there in the future.
A first-person survival horror game on the PS4? Count me in. A first-person survival horror game steeped with Asian culture and folklore? Count me in multiple times. I first saw this game when I caught the first part of John Wolfe’s playthrough on YouTube. It immediately caught my eye, and when I saw it was coming out on PS4, I knew I had to give it a try.
Paper Dolls offers average horror adventure fare at a decent technical level.
