Even after a number of Stardew Valley years, the possibilities continue to feel fresh. No season is the same and you always have a new goal to achieve. And if you feel that you can say goodbye to your crops after fifty years, then it is definitely worth starting over as a winegrower with a different starting location. Because Stardew Valley is not boring!

Middle-earth Shadow of War is a perfect sequel to Shadow of Mordor. It doubles down on the strengths with a better Nemesis-system, excellent combat system and new areas. The story is not the best out there, but if you liked SoM, you'll love this.

Starcraft Remastered is an ode to the amazing original. Blizzard kept it exactly the same as the old title, which means they both play on the same servers, but it also means old annoyances return. But all in all it's a beautiful update for a true classic.

Valkyria Revolution tries a lot of new things, but loses the Valkyria-soul in the process. The combat system is stuck between action and tactics and the style is completely different. It's only saved by an interesting story and beautiful soundtrack.

The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind is a triumphant return to the island of Vvardenfell. It looks stunning, the story line is interesting, the new Warden class is cool and diverse and there is loads of content. A nearly perfect expansion.

Impact Winter has loads of interesting gameplay elements that blend perfectly together and create a good experience. The tension is excellent as well, but it often gets ruined by annoying bugs. The game also suffers from really bad keyboard controls.

Now an answer to the question of whether this Prey reboot has become a gift for the gamer. On this you will receive a resounding "yes" from us. A unique story is mixed with a lot of positive aspects from other games. The end product is a space station in which you can lose yourself because of all the possibilities you have in mind.

No Compromise should have been the big finale for Watch Dogs 2, but while it starts off strong, soon it falls back to familiar grounds. The Time Trials work badly because of the wonky race mechanics, but the weapons and costumes do save the DLC.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the final version of Mario Kart 8, a game that has lost none of its glory after 3 years. The game still looks beautiful and now even plays 1080p at 60fps, even though Mario Kart 8 was already one of the most beautiful Wii U games. With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Nintendo Switch has its first multiplayer topper.

Persona 5 is arguably one of the best JPRG's that has seen the light of day here. In addition, the game is also accessible to both acquaintances of the franchise and newcomers. If you're a huge fan of anime and narrative JRPGs, this game is an absolute must for your collection.

As far as we are concerned, the use of Platinum Games has been a golden move by Yoko Taro. In Nier Automata, the team of the Japanese brain has created a mysterious and beautiful world, with a story in which you constantly doubt yourself. Meanwhile, Platinum Games has delivered a brilliant combat system, complete with extremely smooth animations and surprising depth. The Nier Automata release may fall a bit unhappily between big names like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon: Zero Dawn, but it would be a shame to let this game pass you by.

It's up to you to explore this game world, to solve countless puzzles and save Hyrule from a possible downfall. In what order you do that you know for yourself, because freedom is central to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The gameplay reminds us of what makes a game so good, and combines this with the charm of one of the most acclaimed and beloved game series of all time.

At least you don't have to make one choice and that's whether you should buy the game or not. Horizon Zero Dawn is a fantastic game and potentially the best game of the year! It's accessible, but challenging looks truly phenomenal, and offers you dozens of hours of fun!

Tales of Berseria is a surprise. The story and characters are dark, which is not expected of the series. The battle system got an upgrade, but the graphics have hardly improved. If you are looking for tens of hours of fun, this is the game.

For now, the question is: is the collection worth a purchase? Yes. A very thick fat yes even. The series is nicely polished and still fun to play.

Watch Dogs 2 has learned from the mistakes that Watch Dogs made. It has an interesting cast of characters, the city is full of colour and the smartphone is used well. It has some flaws however, but those don't take too much away from the experience.

Dishonored 2 is one big bombshell of atmosphere. The game offers something for everyone, with the general rule that a solid gameplay experience is maintained. An interesting setting, combined with a compelling story, ensures that you won't get bored for a moment. The game offers the best of the first Dishonored, with enough tweaks to keep things fresh.

All in all, Civilization 6 remains a game that is true to the Civilization series. The change in style and the additions to the gameplay bring the franchise back up to date for 2016. For the seasoned Civilization player, the style and especially the importance of religion will take some getting used to, but in the end, it gives you just that little bit more challenge you're looking for.

Gears of War 4 feels very complete with all that content, and you won't get bored easily. With the game, developer The Coalition shows well what kind of vision it has for the franchise. The emphasis is hugely on replayability and being able to play together. This is reflected in the extensive multiplayer and the Horde mode, but also in the fact that the game as a whole is playable in co-op. Unfortunately, the campaign is a bit on the short side, and can sometimes feel a bit monotonous. But the interesting story and abundance of action make up for a lot.

ReCore starts strong with a fun combination of platforms and third-person shooting, but soon the repetition starts to strike a bit and every enemy feels the same. The same goes for the Corebots that accompany you. Upgrading your comrades is fun, and puzzling with the skills feels cool too.
