The world of Monster Hunter is best known for big battles against gigantic monsters and collecting materials. However, the Stories series has been taking a different approach for years. Instead of pure action, the emphasis here is more on a story-driven RPG, in which you collect monsters, work with them and experience a great adventure. Developer Capcom continues this with Monster Hunter Stories 3 - Twisted Reflection. The result is a game that clearly builds on previous parts: colorful, accessible and full of familiar elements for fans. At the same time, the game also tries to bring enough novelty to draw players back into the world.

Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a city builder in which you build cities on mountains instead of flat land, which immediately makes the game different. In the campaign you free the city of Laysara from a deadly fog and build infrastructure between different heights. Obstacles such as avalanches, steep slopes and limited construction space make planning food supplies and transportation challenging. Sandbox mode gives complete freedom to develop multiple mountains and trading networks, but creative freedom remains limited. With an atmospheric Tibetan art style and voiceovers, it is an accessible, cozy city builder for players who enjoy a quiet, strategic building experience.

Tales of Berseria is a JRPG with a strong story that keeps you hooked as a player. However, the remastered version feels unnecessary due to the lack of clear improvements in both gameplay and graphics. Nevertheless, the game is especially worth the money for new players.

World of Warcraft: Midnight focuses more on storytelling, lore and character moments, especially around the Void threat of Xal'atath in Quel'Thalas. New features such as housing and the playable race Haranir give players additional activities. At the same time, the story is sometimes confusing and the main story occasionally lacks the epic impact you expect.

After the beautiful first part, the bar was set high for Planet of Lana II - Children of the Leaf, but this new part is definitely worth a try. On PS5, the dreamy world comes to life even more with smooth performance, fast loading times and impressive visual performance. Follow Lana, her sister and pet mouse on their adventure to save their planet Novo from the mysterious machines.

NORSE: Oath of Blood has a good story, a fun settlement structure, and clear turn-based combat. The voice acting is really strong. However, there are many minor bugs, strange visual moments, and sometimes the hub simply doesn't feel like much. As a result, it currently feels more like an early access game than a finished one. Hopefully, updates will be released soon to fix the remaining bugs, because then this will simply be a much stronger game.

Nioh 3 is a dark action-RPG with subtle influences from Souls-like games and Ninja Gaiden. This third installment is a major step forward for the series, and it shows throughout. It has a better combat system and many new additions that make the gameplay much more enjoyable. Without a doubt, the best Nioh yet.

High On Life 2 is the sequel to High On Life and its DLC. The game is bigger and more chaotic than its predecessor. While it largely offers more of the same, it also features new additions, including new weapons and a skateboard. While this game isn't for everyone, its humor will certainly appeal to the right audience.

After a nine-year wait, Styx: Blades of Greed sees the sarcastic goblin hunt for a new power source called Quartz, navigating three sprawling sandbox environments to stay ahead of the mighty Inquisition. It's a game that truly shines in its focus on stealth and vertical exploration. The switch to Unreal Engine 5 and the increased freedom of choice offer a welcome refresh to the series. My Hero Academia: All's Justice is an anime fighting game with a wide variety of features. The wide selection of characters and gameplay options is a breath of fresh air in the MHA series. The fighting gameplay has been upgraded, allowing for even more combinations. This prevents repetitive gameplay and will certainly keep you entertained as an MHA fan.

Code Vein 2 is a Souls-like Action RPG from Bandai Namco. A number of improvements have been made on the original, but there are also some improvements on the predecessor. In any case, it is highly recommended for Souls fans.

Exotica 2: Pet Shop SIMulator does exactly what you would expect from it. Have your own pet shop and have the freedom to decide which animals you want to sell. There are countless options available and you have to put in quite a few hours to get the most out of them. And therein lies its pitfall, you may have to put in too many hours to unlock many animals. That's not for everyone, but it plays nicely in between.

Nova Antarctica is set in the year 2900, when Antarctica has become a dangerous and mysterious continent. As the protagonist, you follow a mysterious radio signal to the Antarctic, while trying to survive in snowstorms and abandoned research stations. The game combines survival and crafting with choices that influence your adventure. You collect resources, craft items and manage your backpack and equipment against harsh weather conditions. The pace of the game is slow and constantly re-collecting resources can be frustrating. For those who enjoy quiet, challenging exploration, Nova Antarctica offers a unique, atmospheric experience.

Ebola Village is a shameless imitation of Resident Evil Village and in some ways that has something to it. The inspiration is clearly taken from the Resident Evil franchise. Technically it is a mess here and there and that also causes hilarity at times. Are you looking for a great horror game? Then you should ignore Ebola Village. Are you looking for the Temu variant of Resident Evil and just want to be entertained? Then add another point and immediately purchase the entire series. We have now done that too.

Citadelum is a strategic city building game with a classic Roman setting, in which you as a player develop a settlement into a mighty Roman empire. In addition to in-depth gameplay, the game can certainly be played differently again and again due to the continuously changing gameplay.

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow is potentially a very cool VR game. The problem, however, lies in the many bugs that can really break the game. Consider items that spontaneously disappear that are essential to passing the level. Restarting the level is then the only option. If you can look past that, then it's all quite doable. Sneaking around and stealing stuff works surprisingly well and the gray style certainly contributes to the experience that Maze Theory wants to offer you.

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a beat 'em up as you would expect. Pure arcade fun, with various heroes and enough variety in the world. It plays well and it certainly has something to offer for the eye.
