Rise of the Ronin takes you to an exciting time in Japanese history. However, that says it all. Rise of the Ronin borrows many elements from well-known games such as Assassin's Creed and Nioh. The combat can be relatively frustrating due to the different styles you have to learn. There is also a lot to experience in the open world, but it is not always beautiful or challenging. Rise of the Ronin is therefore primarily a game where you can enjoy yourself for a short time.

Years of development yield a little tension with spectacular sea fighting while playing. In the end, however, this looting offers too little variation to keep fascinating. The story and the main character also do not know how to commit to you because of absent development. Furthermore, live service elements and hated micro-transactions make cannon food from Skull and Bones. Ubisoft should have sat down again to sit around the drawing board or have this title sink.

In what the last months of the Nintendo Switch will be, if we have to believe the rumors, Nintendo gives us a nice encore. After Super Mario Bros. Wonder At the end of last year, a slick remake of a Gameboy Advance classic: Mario vs. Donkey Kong. In the twenty years after the release of the original, the Italian plumber and his ancient rival seemed to have grown at each other, but in this remake the battle between the two can be tasted again.

Helldivers 2 tackles it differently than its predecessor and in this case that has been a good gamble. Helldivers 2 guarantees hours full of pleasure, provided you play this with several and preferably also with friends. It is chaotic and you regularly find yourself on a battlefield. The missions can sometimes feel somewhat repeating, but that cannot be said about the rest. You can completely dress your character and provide it with the latest tools. A wonderful snack for which you are not lost the full pound.

Banishers: Ghost of New Eden is a not too difficult game with a very strong story. It has several roads and dilemmas for which you can make the decision. It looks reasonable and plays almost obvious.

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown you are a young warrior who has to save the kidnapped Persian prince. The game is full of action and adventure and feels both classic and known, and at the same time totally innovative and original. Full speed run, jump, dive and fight your way through the game, where everything feels smooth and pleasant. This game is definitely recommended to add to your collection.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash responds to the popularity of the Japanese animation series Jujutsu Kaisen with two seasons now. This is the only positive thing we can say about this title. This is partly because the Story Mode consists of short boring missions where the tough characters feel incredibly boring. And that is not already, but also the limitation of the story to the first season and the film is disappointing. Environments look recognizable, but for the rest Jujutsu Kaisen is: Cursed Clash an insult to the fans.

'Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League' is a good looking game with a nice story. The controls are sometimes a bit difficult, but it doesn't play badly. Unfortunately, the gameplay in the open world is sometimes very monotonous. The fan will enjoy it, but should not set his expectations too high.

Another Code: Recollection is a merger of two previously released games in the Another Code series, but with the necessary innovations. You play with Ashley Mizuki Robins who is investigating to find out what happened in the past and you do this by solving the necessary puzzles and having a lot of dialogue. The focus is clearly on the story, which is done justice to by fine voice actors. The puzzles could have been a little more creative, but are nevertheless entertaining.

'Tekken 8' is a fighter with a wide range of game types. It offers accessibility for every character. Both the veteran and the new player could enjoy it to the fullest. A true fighter fan will definitely want to get this title.

'The Last Of Us Part II Remastered' adds one game mode and minimal extras. Graphically it is better, but it is difficult to notice. The game itself remains as classy as before, but the remaster still feels very unnecessary.

Deceit 2 was poorly received at the end of 2023. There were a number of critical points such as the graphics, visuals and the win balance between the Innocent and the Infected. The big update has really improved the game experience. Unfortunately, the update seems to have arrived too late and many players have already given up. Fortunately there is a kind of Friends Pass available where you can play the game with someone who has bought deceit 2. In addition, Deceit 2 is at its best if you play it with friends.

Let's Sing 2024 does what you would expect, letting loose on contemporary music with a touch of nostalgia. You can hang out with friends again, against strangers online or just relax alone. The career mode is nice, but only if you are not yet familiar with the series. Classic is where you have free choice to decide for yourself what you sing. With 35 songs and possibly extra from the VIP Pass, you will be entertained for hours. So grab your phone or microphone and go crazy.

If you are looking for a broad game with beautiful graphics, lots of quests with the possibility of even more content, look no further. Then Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the game for you. Based on the film of the same name, the sequel to the first Avatar film/game. Where we didn't think was possible after a great first Avatar experience, Ubisoft has outdone themselves.

This new Dragon Quest part is fun for new players, but also for gamers who have been fans of the series for years and have been looking forward to a sequel/Spin-off. This strategy RPG distinguishes itself from its peers in several areas and is easy to play. The game is smooth enough to pick up quickly, but complicated enough to spend hours playing. Highly recommended if you are looking for hours of entertainment with the possibility of extra content and online expansion

Super Mario RPG has been remastered on the Nintendo Switch. It has remained very close to the original. It's up to Mario to save the Mushroom Kingdom, this time not from Bowser, but the enemy Exor. The beautiful 3D refresh that this game has received is great and the soundtrack is also great. The game ensures that you fly through the game without getting bored. The turn-based combat is a joy and no two characters and weapons are the same to play as. Find the combination that works for you and save the mushroom kingdom!

RoboCop: Rogue City is the best that Teyon has presented us when it comes to youth heroes from the 80s. RoboCop plays nice and stiff and the action is also good. Writing out tickets feels especially funny when it comes to illegal parking. However, the quality remains outdated graphically and you should only play this if you are a fan of the films.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III picks up where they left off last year. Changing course in the meantime turns out to be anything but effective. The single player is far too short and feels too rushed. The multiplayer also does exactly what you would expect, namely not being entertaining due to the toxic behavior of the players. Add to that the fact that there are no new maps, but only directly transferred maps from Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. Is there anything positive about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III? Yes, Zombies is quite entertaining because there is more to it.

WarioWare: Move It! is a wonderfully smooth game full of funny, varied and creative microgames that make good use of the possibilities of the Joy-Cons. It's everything you'd expect from a WarioWare game, although the party mode for three or four players is a disappointment. The pace is slow in this mode and because each player has not two, but one Joy-Con, the game registers all the poses and movements you have to do a lot less well. The two-player story mode is by far the best this bright, strange and funny game has to offer.

Alan Wake II picks up the thread again literally and figuratively thirteen years later. Alan Wake has been missing for thirteen years and FBI agent Saga Anderson has to investigate a murder in Bright Falls that could be linked to Alan Wake. What follows is a story between two main characters full of secrets and an escape from this nightmare that reigns in Bright Falls. Alan Wake II is more horror than action and the jump scares certainly help with that. Alan Wake II even feels uncomfortable at times and that is certainly a positive sign in this case.
