A fun sequel to the original game in 2018, in which you unravel mysteries by interrogating people and Pokemon. These mysteries and riddles are quite simple, which makes it feel like child's play. If you're looking for action and adventure, Detective Pikachu isn't the right choice. But if you have a love for Pokémon and want a change from Pokémon battles, you've come to the right place!

After many years of whining and complaining from the fan base, Ubisoft finally seemed to give in last year: There would be an Assassin's Creed game "according to the old formula", entitled Mirage. A so-called return to form, with fewer RPG elements and more old-fashioned sneaking and blending into the crowd on a smaller scale than the previous three games (read: Valhalla, Odyssey & Origins). It was music to the ears of many fans, but has Ubisoft managed to keep these promises? The short answer: yes! But that does come with some caveats.

Baten Kaitos I & II, originally released on the Gamecube, have been remastered for the Nintendo Switch. The upgrade brings players back into the enchanting fantasy world, with beautiful visuals and a compelling story. Although Part 1 already scored highly, Origins surpasses its predecessor on all fronts, with significant improvements in both visuals and gameplay. Both games introduce a unique card-based battle system, which adds an interesting and tactical dimension to the game. Highly recommended for RPG enthusiasts looking for a refreshing experience.

8.5 / 10.0 - Lies of P
Oct 5, 2023

Lies of P is a soulslike that distinguishes itself mainly with its story and accessibility. The environments look beautiful and the well-known story of Pinocchio makes Krat and his surroundings feel like a fun city trip. Make no mistake, Lies of P may be a bit more accessible, but it punishes you mercilessly if you are greedy during the fights. A pleasant addition to the soulslike genre.

6.5 / 10.0 - Super Bomberman R 2
Sep 30, 2023

Entertaining multi-player game, which is mainly based on that. The story for the single-player is boring and the voice actors don't do the game much good, but fortunately that is rectified by the fun online battles.

7 / 10.0 - PAYDAY 3
Sep 26, 2023

Payday 3 obviously uses the same concept as its predecessors. The game has had the necessary update to look sleek again. There isn't a lot of content yet, but the missions available are very entertaining.

9 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 1
Sep 22, 2023

Gameplay as usual is what you can expect from 'Mortal Kombat 1'. Add to that a sharp quality and again some minor adjustments to the well-known rules and you have a top fighter. The blood will flow over your screen again.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge: Dimension Shellshock is a DLC that provides a small-scale addition to the game. Not everyone will see the value of this. Nevertheless, it is entertaining.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Crew Motorfest
Sep 20, 2023

'The Crew Motorfest' is a racing game that plays quite nicely and has accessibility options for new players. The experienced player can also expect a tailor-made challenge. The range of vehicles is extensive and a wide range of different types of races are available.

9 / 10.0 - Starfield
Sep 17, 2023

Starfield can best be described as Skyrim in space and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. In fact, it even feels familiar and can draw new players into a new world. Starfield is immense and you just don't know where to start. The minimal to no explanation really makes it feel like a big adventure for you. You make strategic choices throughout the game, such as providing your ship with power, which skills you want to teach your character to which mission you want to do first. Starfield is overwhelming and perhaps a bit too much for some.

We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is a fun excursion for people who find the We Were Here series quite challenging. The puzzles are more accessible and you get just as much fun out of them. It's easy to complete in an afternoon and you can keep playing the puzzles until you get gold. An additional advantage is that We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is also free for a month. So what are you waiting for?

6.5 / 10.0 - Ad Infinitum

Ad Infinitum is a horror game that manages to create a good atmosphere despite the poorer visuals. Moments of fear cannot be avoided. It is also very accessible to play.

'Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon' is a top, high-class game. It sticks to its roots and does things a little differently than most contemporary games. The game is definitely not for everyone, but promises maximum enjoyment for those it appeals to.

6.5 / 10.0 - Immortals of Aveum
Sep 4, 2023

Immortals of Aveum is the first project from Ascendant Studios and there is nothing wrong with that. It's just not a high-flyer because the game doesn't get past the border of somewhat entertaining. The story is quite mediocre, the controls are quite counterintuitive on the console and the main missions are linear. There could have been more if it had been given more of an adult touch.

n 1973 a teenager goes missing, after which her sister and friends try to track her down. They walk straight into a horrific nightmare. Although The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is not the first game to use such a formula, Sumo Nottingham applies it masterfully. Break out in a sweat on the run from psychotic killers or let the teenage blood flow freely yourself. Play together with and against gamers from all platforms!

8 / 10.0 - Fort Solis
Aug 22, 2023

Fort Solis is the first project from Fallen Leaf Studio and takes you to the Fort Solis base on the planet Mars. Something is going on and it's up to you as a player to find out what. Fort Solis knows how to give you a very oppressive feeling while not much actually happens. The story is sometimes a bit muddled and the playing time is on the short side with about four to six hours. Nevertheless, Fort Solis does give you a good feeling afterwards and it tastes like more of Fallen Leaf Studio.

6 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Aug 20, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a game with fairly entertaining gameplay and a great combat system. The graphics are not of the highest caliber, but this does not make the game any less entertaining. In addition, the story is unfortunately not a huge highlight.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dave the Diver
Aug 14, 2023

Dave the Diver is all about what the name says, Dave being a diver. During the day he explores the sea and hunts for fish to have them prepared in the evening at the sushi restaurant. Although it sounds so simple, it is more than that. It's simplistic, which is why this game works so well. You are thinking about your equipment, but also about the menu for that evening. Dave the Diver is an ideal snack that is unfortunately only available on PC for the time being.

5 / 10.0 - Inner Ashes
Aug 3, 2023

Inner Ashes is a game that mainly focuses on the experience of a person suffering from Alzheimer's, but has a lot less focus on the gaming element. Whether this was really the intention is still the question, but you can play this game just fine if the storyline and atmosphere appeal to you and you attach less importance to puzzles and gaming. Take into account (on the Switch) some larger and smaller bugs of which the question (but the hope) is that they will still be solved.

9 / 10.0 - Pikmin 4
Aug 1, 2023

In Pikmin 4, you as a stranded astronaut on planet Earth must search for the other crew members of your spaceship. Fortunately, you have a trusty biped and dozens of docile Pikmin to help you with that. It's a game that plays wonderfully and lets you explore a world at your leisure full of treasures, obstacles and enemies that you have to face. There are a number of new challenges that offer a different gameplay experience and are a welcome, enjoyable change from exploring. Do not expect a very challenging game, but a very successful game to take your mind off it.
