The remake of Until Dawn for PC and PS5 offers an impressive visual upgrade and subtle improvements to the dialogues and gameplay. The well-known butterfly effect system, where every choice influences the course of the story, still provides tension and high replayability. Although you can fully enjoy the immersive horror experience as a new player, the cinematic presentation is regularly disrupted by technical errors such as graphical bugs and framerate stutters. The price of €69.99 feels on the high side for a nine-year-old game, especially for returning players who already know the original version. Nevertheless, it remains a unique and exciting experience for newcomers.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection contains the two games Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Ace Attorney Investigations: Prosecutor's Gambit from the Nintendo DS. Both have had a graphical upgrade and offer a lot of fun. The big question is: is it worth it for forty euros? The answer is actually simple: if you are not familiar with this series, then you will enjoy it for forty euros. If you are already familiar with Ace Attorney Investigations, then forty euros is actually way too much money and you should better wait for a sale.

'Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns' is an expansion for 'Mortal Kombat 1'. The focus is mainly on the second part of the story. This is full of brutal action, but feels relatively shorter. In addition, it contains six new characters, three of which are available at release.

From then to now, ARA history untold. An enormously extensive game with a lot of depth. Even the smallest details have been thought about. The game is based on a turn progression, which gives peace in your playing style. However, you need a lot of strategy to make the game go as desired. An absolute must if you are looking for a game that you can spend many hours in again and again.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom marks the first time that Princess Zelda takes center stage, as she must flee and prove her innocence after a sinister copy of the king falsely accuses her. The adventure introduces a novel system where Zelda can summon “echoes” of objects and enemies to solve puzzles, offering players creative freedom similar to recent Zelda titles like Breath of the Wild but within a more classic gameplay structure. The visual design builds on the charming style of Link’s Awakening (2019), with a colorful 2.5D look. While the game is fun and innovative, it does suffer from a few drawbacks, such as a cumbersome menu for selecting echoes and occasional technical issues including framerate drops. Despite this, it remains a bold and fresh step for the series, appealing to newcomers and veterans alike, with a focus on strategy and puzzles over action.

'Funko Fusion' is a game that looks great and plays smoothly. Furthermore, the game has too many shortcomings on peripheral matters, which affect the fun and ease of play. For example, the game is sometimes a bit boring and regularly frustrating. It has the potential to be a great game, but comes across as an incomplete group project.

'Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2' is a game with beautiful and lesser images. The controls are not the easiest, but certainly easy to get into. It offers both PvE and PvP content that can connect between all platforms. Team play is a requirement. The story is on the short side, but very brutal and also replayable. The game puts you against hordes of enemies that you have to survive and exterminate. In co-op you have the ultimate experience with two friends. This game will most likely make you a Warhammer fan if you weren't already.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions finally brings the magic of the famous wizarding sport back to life after years of absence. The career mode offers a fun build-up as you progress through your own Quidditch career, from Weasley matches to the Quidditch World Championship. While the career mode is somewhat limited by the use of bots, the game really shines in the PvP mode, where teamwork and strategy are key. The controls take some getting used to, but after a few matches, the flying and maneuvering feels smooth and challenging. Overall, Quidditch Champions offers a modern take on the iconic fantasy sport that really shines in multiplayer.

Black Myth: Wukong is based on The Journey to the West and discusses a very interesting Chinese mythology. Despite the developer saying that it is not a soulslike game, Black Myth: Wukong definitely feels like one. Graphically, the game looks fantastic with beautiful environments and fun dialogues. In terms of gameplay, it can be quite frustrating at times and you just have to be prepared to defeat bosses in a rapid pace without any time to catch your breath. Despite this, Black Myth: Wukong is a fantastic game that you should definitely play.

'Gori: Cuddly Carnage' is a short game with an imperfection here and there. Nevertheless, the game plays wonderfully. It is clearly not a children's game, but for those who like dark and bad humor a great pleasure. Slaughtering unicorns in style is what your main activity is in this hack and slash with some platforming here and there. Good entertainment for the lover of all this is in abundance and that for a nice price.

Of course, a fortune seeker like Kay Vess is supposed to have some rough edges, but that doesn't have to apply to this game. It's nice that the galaxy far, far away finally has an open world title, for sure. However, on a technical level, there is still a lot to be gained. 'Star Wars Outlaws' is definitely inviting, but not entirely satisfying.

Tomba! Special Edition is a slightly improved version of Tomba! from 1997. No graphical changes, but the changes that are there make playing Tomba! Special Edition a lot easier. It gives you a wonderful nostalgic feeling and takes you back to that time. You have to get used to the graphical style and also the sometimes clumsy controls. But if you can, then Tomba! Special Edition is a wonderful game to get through the summer with.

'Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree' is an expansion that continues the challenge of the game. The successful formula has not been changed much. So one can expect more of what one already knows from the games. The biggest challenge can be found in this DLC. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Switch is an epic adventure in which you collect the Crystal Stars to stop an ancient threat. The game combines classic Mario elements with deep RPG mechanics and a compelling story full of humor. The turn-based battle system set on a theater stage is simple to understand but offers a lot of depth. The refreshed visual style and improved graphics bring the papery world to life beautifully. Despite some pacing issues and backtracking, the game remains a masterpiece of the RPG genre.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is a fantastic conclusion to a saga that began ten years ago for many Guardians. The story wraps up a number of things nicely, but also leaves a number of things open for the future. Finally, no more hassle with bounties, but a Pathfinder system that gives you complete freedom to fill in. Add to that a planet that looks impressive and where there is a lot to do. If you find a team of five other Guardians, the raid Salvation's Edge is the next thing that needs to be tackled. Now we wait to see what else Bungie has in store for Destiny 2 in the future.

Planet Zoo: Console Edition provides for the needs of console regemers to have their own digital zoo. In 2019 it was the turn of the PC gamers, but now people with a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox series can also get started. The control on the console works great, but it still works just a little better on a PC. The tutorial is clear enough to start your zoo afterwards. There are lots of possibilities and maybe it is just a bit too much at times. Yet you will be able to enjoy this endlessly if this genre lies.
