Strange choices hide what is a challenging but flawed survival RPG with Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness being the type of game only a fan would enjoy.
Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory / Fallen Legion Revenants offers solid combat and nice presentation but lack of a well told story holds this collection back from being great RPGs.
Sword and Fairy: Together Forever has plenty of charm and enjoyable combat but mixed presentation, poor translation, and far simply being too easy hampers the experience.
A game with a lot of potential bogged down by a plethora of bugs and atrocious dialogue & voice acting. Playable but far from enjoyable.
Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel offers a solid blend of challenging retro puzzles and some modern horror elements but lacks any enjoyable combat as well as a poor English dub.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story tells a fun and intriguing detective story. Unfortunately, it mostly fails to deliver meaningful and fun gameplay.
Fallout 76 can be a great time thanks to its satisfying combat, gameplay loop, and handling of perks but the removal of NPCs and therefore any real impact the player can have on the story, systems that are currently glitched or in need of rebalancing, and way too many bugs to count make your time in Appalachia one where the fun times can truly shine only to quickly fade the next time a glitch or annoying system rears its head.
A game with a lot of promise and not much else. Riddled with technical issues and visually underwhelming to the point of being barely playable.
Road Redemption may offer a fun combat system that fits decently with its racing mechanics but this enjoyment is marred with bugs and an anemic number of modes to actually enjoy it in.
Anthem falls way short of the hype due to repetitive missions and lack of content.
The World Next Door crafts a wonderful world filled with great characters but so much of it is left untapped while its match-3 combat works well enough but ends up feeling to easy in the end, creating a game that looks great and plays decently but lacks any kind of payoff.

With beautiful designs and a new style of gameplay Super Neptunia RPG tries something new but performance issues, combat that can often drag, and a story that is only held up by its humor and the player’s love of the characters limits its appeal to only the die-hard fans of the series or those looking for something a bit different from the genre norms.
At its full launch price, The Great Perhaps is hard to recommend. The story feels jumbled, even for such a short game. The puzzles are bland, and the game has some frustrating mechanics.
The acclaimed Playstation classic is finally on PC and it also comes with classic neglect by Square Enix as a bonus. With the current subpar performance, I can only recommend it to the hardcore fans.
Utawarerumono: Zan abridges the original storyline far too much to be accessible to newcomers while also being fairly thin on content but delivers some solid core combat and plenty of variety with its character’s fighting styles.
Code Shifter is a solid enough action platformer for fans of Arc System Works' properties but doesn't deliver much in the way of original content.
