In short, NBA 2K26 hasn't reinvented the wheel, far from it, but I think it has hit the nail on the head and brought players closer together to create an extremely fun gaming experience.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is a risky venture that attempts to revamp the tower defense formula with roguelike and RPG mechanics. Although it retains the fun and strategic essence of the series, some changes don't quite gel.

All these technical limitations are compensated for by a design that is very much in keeping with the story. Friendly characters and lots of dialogue and subplots that have nothing to do with the main story but enrich the folklore...

Crunching Koalas, together with Serious Sim, invites us to take part in this unique road trip across the United States. Although at first glance it may seem like a racing game, the truth is that the narrative plays a crucial role in this case.

Helldivers 2 on Xbox Series X is a title with both strengths and weaknesses. Graphically, it doesn't live up to the console's potential, and its underutilized lore limits its appeal for those looking for more complex narratives. However, its strengths are so solid that they make up for these shortcomings: sharp humor, high-quality cooperative gameplay, a variety of biomes and objectives, and remarkable sound design.

Oxide Room 208 is a bold game in its approach, willing to make players uncomfortable by putting them in control of detestable characters and throwing them into a nightmarish environment where nothing feels safe.

What Diamond Hands: To The Moon sets out to do, it does well, but without fanfare. It's an addictive and fun game that will keep you entertained and frustrated in equal measure.

With this title, Rogue Factor has recaptured that essence from before that made us think, that didn't lead us by the hand but didn't go to the extreme of indecipherable puzzles, but rather an adventure of environmental and organic exploration, with adult and terrible human stories that make your heart sink.

Gears of War Reloaded does not attempt to reinvent the wheel: it is a careful and respectful tribute to the classic that changed third-person shooters.

Killing Floor 3 offers more of the same: bloody, fast-paced cooperative action with a solid gameplay loop. It's polished and fun, especially in multiplayer mode, but it doesn't quite reach the level of a reinvention.

BattleCap is a naval battle game focused on local multiplayer in which we have to move constantly to defend our structures from sea creatures in PvE mode and eliminate other ships and prevent them from destroying us in PvP mode. It's also true that the game doesn't offer a variety of gameplay, so after a couple of games, it becomes clear that it doesn't offer anything extra.

Mafia: The Old Country transports us to a remarkable adventure with this prequel set at the beginning of the century. With a perfect story, masterfully told, but poorly accompanied by its embellishments, it has left us with a bittersweet taste. Its gameplay, which is too basic and redundant, detracts significantly from the experience.

Echoes of the End is the kind of title that some gamers have been missing: linear, with a very good narrative, charismatic characters, and a pace and intensity that builds as the story progresses.

The soundtrack is another of its strengths. Traditional Chinese compositions intertwine with dark chords, accompanying both the contemplation of a landscape and the intensity of a final boss battle.

Luto is not a game for everyone, and that is part of its merit. It does not seek to be a typical survival horror game, nor an action-packed festival with cheap scares every two minutes. It is an intimate, short (4 to 6 hours long) and concentrated experience...

Robots at Midnight is a lighthearted third-person action-adventure RPG with a simplistic but beautiful art style, a story that's older than I am but still enjoyable, and exploration and combat that deliver and keep things entertaining.
