I commend 2Dark for tackling a tough premise, but it's one I could have just as well left alone, too. The gameplay combined with the presentation just click with me, and it made this one a chore to play.
Nioh 2 is a balanced and beautiful game. It will certainly frustrate you to the point where you will want to walk away, but that first victory over a big bad demon will ignite a thirst in you to continue your difficult journey through ancient Japan. This game is not for the weak of heart, but most know that going into it.
For Honor is a game that not only excels in it’s combat, but excels in it’s multiplayer execution. Nothing is more satisfying than challenging friends to a quick 1v1 battle to see who is the superior fighter, only to have your clock cleaned in a public match. While I found the story to be lackluster and more of a set of tutorial stages, there’s enough there to get players engaged with how the game operates. Multiplayer is the real crown jewel of For Honor, and is set to have players wanting more for the weeks and months ahead.
All in all, Lego City Undercover is a good deal of fun that players from all ages will be able to enjoy. While the game is nothing challenging or revolutionary, it is nice to see a game as kid-friendly as Lego take tribute from a series that meant for adults. The overworld is large enough to where players will always have something new to discover while going after the criminals led by Red Fury. Undercover might be too easy of a challenge but that doesn't take away from the overall wonderful experience players will have going through this delightful world.
In the end, Heavy Fire: Red Shadow definitely harkens back to a time period where point/shoot had a different meaning in an arcade experience than it does now. The game maintains a nostalgic design, which certainly makes sense for the experience, but the experience's longevity will be questioned depending on player expectations. This goes back to what you understand about a game's intentions. If you know going into it that you're going to get an arcade shooter, then you may not be disappointed. If you're expecting a deeper experience than just point/shoot, then you may not find it here.
Knowledge is Power: Decades is a fun trivia game that, like its predecessor, wasn't meant to be a longterm experience. It serves its purpose, brings some fun trivia (sometimes difficult trivia) to the forefront, and delivers a bit more variety when it comes to special moves in the game. It doesn't try to change things too much from what made it work the first time around, so don't expect something drastically different.
It’s the entire package on the PC, and should give something a bit different to those playing that Minecraft thing.
Super Dungeon Bros isn't an awful game but it does itself no favours at the same time. If you manage to convince three friends to pick it up it can be fun, otherwise you may find yourself disappointed.

Red Barrels really knows how to get under your skin. Play the game, you will understand. The dark undertones of the game set up the story throughout and constantly make you think wtf, yet you still want more. Buy Outlast 2, be scared, you won't be disappointed.
Fe is a wonderful experience that asks you to think a bit, while also entertaining you with a silent story and majestic moments that are Journey-esque. The gameplay for Fe is well designed, fits the bill for what is going on and does its best to make sure you're entertained and challenged.
I would recommend Red Faction: Guerilla to anyone who likes sci-fi and third person free roaming. While it lacks an intuitive story line, the gameplay makes up for that by being original and engaging. I did, however get bored after playing for long periods of time so I recommend playing in spurts.
EarthNight's impossibly stylish gameplay and art direction draw players into a whimsical fantasy of dragon slaying. Its multitude of secrets, carefully rewarding platforming, and retro heartbeat allow each moment and each run of this gem to always surprise and captivate.
Though it blends familiar elements from multiple genres, Othercide is a wholly unique game wrapped in a surreal aesthetic, challenging players to maximize their tactical prowess by employing thoughtful sacrifice.
There's little to fault here and that's because SI Games takes the iterative approach. Whilst there hasn't been a big shift on the game's workings since tactical sliders were removed in FM 2014 each version is a step forward.
Overall MLB The Show 17 does what it's supposed to do and builds on last year's great game. It's hard to truly improve year after year without any competition but the development team is able to do that with this game. The documentary style of RTTS is brilliant and the new MLB Network broadcast addition is great and adds authenticity to the game. MLB The Show 17 is a great game for any baseball fans and will provide a great experience from any of their game modes.
VR Golf Online is a tough game that offers up some frustration, though the learning curve isn't that bad, especially if you haven't played the game of golf before. The game is built to help you through and does offer up a tiny bit of forgiveness to some elements that would be killer on the real course. It does a nice balanced job of making the experience fun, even when you're losing, while putting you through the golfing ropes that real golfers would experience. If you're an HTC Vive owner, then you need to try this out. It's definitely a good VR experience.
All in all, I really enjoyed my time with Madden 19. The addition of Real Player Motion to the package improved Madden 19 dramatically. The controls felt great because of it and the gameplay felt tightly woven, which translated to one fun experience playing football in a video game.
Velan Studios' Knockout City is a fun game that anyone can pick up and play. It has everything it needs to be a go-to competitive game that is destined to find its way regularly on an Esports schedule. If the promised content is consistently delivered, then it will certainly stick around for years to come.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a spectacular experience. It is masterfully crafted with the right amount of South Park driving it. It certainly has a few minor faults here and there, but it is built to entertain and it doesn't falter in that area. It's a big game with a properly built turn-based personalty and it all works beautifully within its humorous South Park wrapper.
