8.5 / 10.0 - Borderlands 4
Nov 18, 2025

The Borderlands series returns once again to the forefront of shooter games, offering an advanced and smooth movement style that makes navigating its massive environments more enjoyable, with epic encounters full of excitement and variety, and a vast world rich in details and secrets that always push you to explore. The story, in turn, succeeds in drawing you directly into the game's distinctive atmosphere, which combines seriousness with the series' usual comedic touch, adding a special character that attracts players from the first moment. Despite the numerous technical problems that may distract from the experience at times, Borderlands 4 remains one of the most beautiful and enjoyable cooperative shooter experiences that is difficult to miss.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of Giants is the awaited expansion to complete the journey of our adventurer Indiana Jones in Italy, specifically Rome and among its tunnels, to explore the secret of the unknown Crusader and the giants with him. We navigate and explore secrets through well-designed stages, fun parkour, and excellent and creative puzzles, entering into battles that lacked the necessary additions, and concluding it with an exciting final fight and an ending that did not reveal what should have been revealed.

8 / 10.0 - EA Sports FC 26
Nov 18, 2025

After the EA SPORTS FC 25 installment, which is considered the least successful entry, EA SPORTS FC 26 was released to us with excellent additions and the improvements requested by the audience, to be a distinctive experience for fans of the series and football fans in general. The gameplay became smoother and more responsive with the addition of play options that suit competitive and individual modes, and improvements to skill moves, jostling, goalkeeping, and player AI made their positioning more accurate and logical. However, it faced minor issues in entering matches and making some game content—such as boost features and cosmetic elements for the other modes—restricted to the ULTIMATE TEAM season.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger proved to be more than just a new game in the series; rather, it is the experience that Digimon fans have been waiting for for years. It does not stop at offering most of the elements that players dream of—from a deep combat system and strategic gameplay style to a rich world full of details and adventures—but rather combines all of that in an integrated JRPG mold that meets the aspirations of fans of this genre of games. With clear attention to the narrative aspects, character development, and the exploration side, it can be confidently said that Time Stranger represents a big step forward for the series and is one of the best experiences that fans of Japanese Role-Playing Games can undertake this year.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a huge step forward for the Sonic series in this field. Its strength comes from polished driving that gives every movement its own weight, a deep customization system that motivates you to experiment and try things out, and diverse and rich tracks that make every race a visual and mechanical adventure. The innovation of 'cross-worlds' is the touch that gives the game a renewed personality and makes it truly different from its competitors. Despite some negatives, such as the variation in local play or some performance issues, the game remains deservedly one of the best games in this category, one of the best Sonic character releases in recent years, and one of the best kart racing games of all time.

7.5 / 10.0 - Battlefield 6
Nov 17, 2025

The Battlefield studio has provided us with one of the best and most distinctive installments in the series, standing out with a new story mode set in the present time and different from before; it featured good stages that varied slightly and an average story, but was distinguished by high graphics quality and stunning cinematic scenes. The multiplayer mode is perfect, delivering what the audience wishes for with an amazing destruction system, an abundance of game modes and maps, modified soldier classes, and excellent weapon customization. It faced problems with the anti-cheat system, the excessive presence of bots, and poor and difficult aircraft piloting.

8.5 / 10.0 - Ghost of Yotei
Nov 16, 2025

Ghost of Yotei is a truly unique experience for fans of samurai and quiet stories told with an artistic flair more than being just a combat adventure. It is a work that combines beauty and pain in a rare mixture in this generation of games. It is not just a story about revenge or survival, but about winning and losing, and searching for the meaning of honor in a world that has lost its meaning amidst chaos and blood. Every detail in the game—from the world design and the sound of the wind between the trees, to the looks of the protagonist Atsu as she faces her past—conveys a deep sense of nostalgia and loss, as if she is walking on an edge between regret and liberation. Although it may not be perfect in terms of some technical aspects or the slow pace, it compensates for that with its own spirit and a rare artistic identity, making it an unparalleled experience.

Death Stranding 2 presented a complete story and crafted it with a human message of very high value, putting all doubts to rest regarding the previous installment through noticeable improvements, and succeeded in its attempts to attract a new audience to the series. With a unique gameplay style that combined traversal, delivery, and combat—which was documented in the previous part's leaks despite the clear update—especially in boss fights within a vast and beautiful world for traversal and delivery. However, it is exhausting and tiring at times. The showcase of the Decima engine technology provided the best presentation of Death Stranding thanks to the prominently featured graphics, which is a strong indicator that the formula presented in the series may be an exceptional experience in the current generation.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is one of the best experiences for fans of the hack-and-slash genre. However, it is certainly not the best version of Ninja Gaiden 2; there have been many versions of this game, and the original version remains the best. The game did not offer the perfect difficulty like the original version, but it provided an overall enjoyable experience. I did not find a real justification for this remaster other than it brought back beautiful memories of a beautiful game I played many years ago in 2008. In summary, this version is the second-best version after the original, and I encourage everyone to try it, especially since it is available on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Conclusion: Studio Hangar 13 managed to return to us with a classic experience carrying a beautiful story, even if its events were predictable and some were provoking. The story was characterized by the interconnection of some events with the original trilogy and wonderful writing of the characters. However, the experience suffered from limited gameplay dominated by repetition and a linear approach, alongside a fluctuating technical level, despite the stunning graphics that showed Sicily and the mafia world in an amazing way. On the other hand, the audio and music stood out distinctively, making them one of the strongest elements of the game.

After more than 10 hours spent inside the game Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance, we see the creativity of the game's developers in every detail. They created a masterpiece in the platformer genre, as the game's stages were diverse, with each stage distinguished from the other by a different artistic style, different environments, and varied ideas in the gameplay. This was accompanied by a great diversification of skills, special abilities, and sequential combat moves, diverse enemies, and bosses distinct from one another with their dazzling fighting styles. 10 / 10.0 - Silent Hill f
Nov 16, 2025

Silent Hill f represents a strong return for the series, blending psychological horror and Japanese stories in a charming and frightening artistic style. Its events take place in Japan during the 1960s amidst mysterious atmospheres filled with tension and symbolism, with a tragic story written by Ryukishi07 in an escalating style that plants fear slowly, away from cheap jumpscares. The game features stunning graphics, meticulous details, and strange floral touches that add a distinctive character, while the soundtrack and voice acting enhance the sense of anxiety and loneliness. Furthermore, the exploration design maintains the dread of the atmosphere and encourages curiosity; while respecting the series' legacy, it presents a bold and innovative artistic vision that makes it a captivating psychological horror experience worthy of praise.

Despite the abundance of Roguelite games at the current time, it offers one of the most distinctive experiences this year. The narrative aspect and the characters that are easy to get attached to, the dual combat between the two characters adds a distinctive tactical depth and creates moments charged with tension and excitement. The carefully built gameplay loop makes every attempt a new opportunity to formulate a different style, with a noticeable variety in abilities and options. The hand-drawn artistic direction adds a special identity, while the soundtrack enhances the atmosphere. It is true that some aspects need improvement, such as the balance in difficulty, repetition in some dialogues, and the cheapness of the 3D models and textures, but the core remains enjoyable and innovative. In the end, the game proves itself as a strong title in the 2025 library, and is worth the recommendation for everyone looking for an artistic and strategic adventure at the same time.

Donkey Kong Bananza is a perfect return for the character Donkey Kong, as Nintendo has presented a stunning 3D platforming experience that blends madness, fun, and creativity. The game takes us on an exciting adventure toward the core of the Earth, accompanied by little Pauline with the magical voice. It features perfect controls that utilize every button intelligently, with diverse transformations and vibrant worlds that you never tire of exploring. The visual style is charming, and the music is a masterpiece in every sense of the word, especially the songs performed by Pauline during transformations. Additionally, the skill tree, boss fights, and variety of environments make every moment in the game a unique experience. Donkey Kong Bananza is not just a platform game, but a masterpiece that revives one of Nintendo's icons in a stunning modern style.

Despite the return of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac as an enhanced version, it ultimately offers a mid-level platforming experience that does not live up to expectations. While it is true that the game carries some enjoyable touches, such as the variety of boss ideas in encounters and the addition of simple improvements to puzzles that add a bit of diversification, this is not enough to compensate for the absence of any element of innovation or a distinctive touch that makes it a truly different experience. With the short lifespan of the game and the adventure ending quickly, alongside mediocre music that leaves no clear impact on the player, and characters without identity, the experience as a whole becomes very ordinary—as if it were just an attempt to re-present the past without real development or any mentionable addition. Nevertheless, this experience remains the best experience for this game, and I have high expectations for the enhanced version of the third part or a completely new game.

Dear reader, this game is a love letter presented by The Game Kitchen to the entire audience of the Ninja Gaiden series, as Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound has restored the spirit of the series after a long absence and provided a distinctive experience that respects its ancient history. Despite the simplicity of the story, the writing style and the connection with the world of Ninja Gaiden were successful, while the gameplay came across as diverse and full of challenges that maintain the fun of combat and push you to continue. Boss encounters are among the most beautiful aspects of the game, with innovative designs that make every battle a different experience. The artistic direction in the Pixel Art style added a beautiful touch that combines the nostalgia of the past with the development of the present, making the game look like a vibrant painting. Despite the limitations of the shop and some small details, the game succeeded in providing a return worthy of the Ninja Gaiden name and opens the door for a new generation of fans.

The Assassin's Creed Shadows experience is certainly not the perfect experience; an experience characterized by a stunning directorial level, a powerful technical level, and an attractive musical level. However, with a narrative level that is not up to the required standard, some technical bugs, and a poor character development system that makes it difficult to accept the game, it is certainly not the perfect experience.

9 / 10.0 - Ninja Gaiden 4
Nov 14, 2025

Ninja Gaiden 4 offered an enjoyable and challenging experience, maintaining the series' identity for which it has been famous for years. The fast combat style with new ideas makes every battle exciting, and the stunning graphics add visual depth to the experience. Despite the lack of environmental variety, the high quality compensated for that. I did not face any technical issues or bugs during play, which made my experience smooth and enjoyable from beginning to end. The game combined the amazing difficulty adored by long-time fans of the series and the famous gore in the series' history, along with stunning technical performance and a distinctive graphical level.

FH5 soars high as a masterpiece in the sky of racing games, combining depth of content with the brilliance of driving in a vibrant open world. It captivates the player with the beauty of Mexico and the variety of its environments, offering a solid system in performance and customization, supported by an incomparable diversity of activities. Despite the slight variation in some graphical details, the quality and splendor of its craftsmanship make it worthy of the strongest expressions of praise; it is a love poem to car driving, recited on a stage of creativity, and is almost flawless.
