After years of waiting, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives on Xbox Series X|S platforms to provide the best experience for the world of Midgar. The story is characterized by a wonderful narrative style met by distinctive characters, but it was not devoid of repetition in some of its corners. While the gameplay combines regular and tactical combat, the fights are enjoyable for what the game offers in terms of multiple combat styles and commands, as well as the development of weapons and characters, and the use of Materia. The graphics are high quality, and the technical performance is smooth and stable, making this version a good experience worth the attention for both players of the series and the new audience.

The gameplay became smoother and more responsive with the addition of play options that suit competitive and individual modes, and improvements to skill moves, jostling, goalkeeping, and player AI made their positioning more accurate and logical. However, it faced minor issues in entering matches and making some game content—such as boost features and cosmetic elements for the other modes—restricted to the ULTIMATE TEAM season.

The Battlefield studio has provided us with one of the best and most distinctive installments in the series, standing out with a new story mode set in the present time and different from before; it featured good stages that varied slightly and an average story, but was distinguished by high graphics quality and stunning cinematic scenes. The multiplayer mode is perfect, delivering what the audience wishes for with an amazing destruction system, an abundance of game modes and maps, modified soldier classes, and excellent weapon customization. It faced problems with the anti-cheat system, the excessive presence of bots, and poor and difficult aircraft piloting.
