Eternal Games
HomepageEternal Games's Reviews
The game offered us more than we expected in terms of depth and mechanics; it is not just another clone of Souls games, but rather an experience with its own identity. From the intelligence of the (Blood Codes) system, which made us care about character building more than just raising traditional stats, to the (Jail) system and the diverse weapons that made the combat characterized by speed and innovation. However, the journey was not perfect; the repetition in the design of enemies and side areas sometimes made us run toward the boss just to avoid boredom, and the technical performance distanced us from immersion in this graphically beautiful world. In conclusion, it is a distinguished game for those looking for boss fights and complex character-building systems, but you must be patient with the repetitive narrative style and technical problems.

After years of waiting, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives on Xbox Series X|S platforms to provide the best experience for the world of Midgar. The story is characterized by a wonderful narrative style met by distinctive characters, but it was not devoid of repetition in some of its corners. While the gameplay combines regular and tactical combat, the fights are enjoyable for what the game offers in terms of multiple combat styles and commands, as well as the development of weapons and characters, and the use of Materia. The graphics are high quality, and the technical performance is smooth and stable, making this version a good experience worth the attention for both players of the series and the new audience.

The Séance of Blake Manor offers a quiet and intelligent investigation experience that focuses on narrative, exploration, and connecting evidence more than its reliance on challenge or action. It is characterized by its masterfully crafted mysterious atmosphere and its gradual story building that grants the player full freedom in progressing without imposing a specific path, which enhances the sense of immersion and analysis. Although the frequency of loading screens and the slow pace at times may affect the smoothness of the experience, the game remains a distinctive and polished experience for fans of investigation games and deep storytelling.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remaster is a distinctive re-presentation of two beloved classic games, maintaining the essence of the original experience while introducing notable improvements in graphics, control, and game modes. The new musical addition and updated maps, along with multiplayer support for up to 8 players, make this version a rich experience that satisfies fans of the series and attracts new players. Despite some reservations, such as the absence of some original songs and the reimagining of a small part of the fourth installment, the game still offers enjoyable and cohesive content that respects Tony Hawk's legacy and develops it without losing its identity.

Little Nightmares 3 succeeded in maintaining the terrifying and disturbing atmosphere that characterized the series since its beginning, with the addition of Supermassive Games studio’s cinematic touch, which granted the experience a new and distinctive visual and psychological depth. The game blends continuous tension and the mystery that shrouds its dark world, offering an adventure that relies on cooperation between the two main characters in solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. Although some puzzles may seem repetitive or the simple control system may slightly affect the smoothness of the experience, the strength of the artistic and audio direction, and the precise details in the environment design, make the player live a state of anxiety and attraction at the same time. Little Nightmares 3 is not just a continuation of the series, but a redefinition of its atmosphere, where innocence blends with danger, and wonder with fear, to offer an immersive experience that deserves to be undertaken with passion and curiosity until its final moment.

Octopath Traveler 0 offers a cohesive JRPG experience that focuses on the story and the building of the series' world, with a clear highlighting of the villains' motives and the diversity of their paths. The turn-based combat system relies on planning and grants the battles tactical depth, and the village reconstruction system adds a good sense of progress. Artistically, the game is characterized by an attractive 2D-HD style and strong music; however, its world is limited and suffers from weak exploration and frequent random encounters. Overall, it is an enjoyable and satisfying experience for fans of the series and storytelling.

She's Leaving is a brave attempt by Blue Hat Studio to enter the world of horror and investigation; as their first game, it managed to provide a very beautiful horror and investigation experience by relying on investigation using realistic forensic techniques, stealth, and escaping from a masked killer chasing you throughout Haywood Manor. However, the game faces clear shortcomings in terms of the limited and shallow nature of its ideas; the killer, who starts off terrifying, quickly becomes predictable and limited in his actions. Despite that, the game offers an interesting experience that shows the developers' talent in building the atmosphere, but it needs greater depth to be truly distinguished.

By merging Rogue-lite elements and the rich variety in characters, traps, and enemies, Deathtrap attempts to push the series to a new level of strategic depth. Despite some weaknesses, such as the shallowness of the upgrade systems, the weakness of the melee combat system, and the game being unbalanced in solo play, the game compensates for this thanks to the dynamic experience, renewed challenges, and the cooperative aspect. The final result is a game that may not be perfect, but it undoubtedly carries a unique blend of action and tactics that makes it a distinctive experience within the series.
