Telltale has proven again how well their episodic storytelling format lends itself to adaptation of successful franchises. And the binge-playthrough taught me that anyone who hasn't been following The Wolf Among Us episode-by-episode, and who therefore might feel like they missed the boat, couldn't be more wrong.
The Wolf Among Us, Telltale's journey into the world of Bill Willingham's Fables, is a well-crafted point-and-click adventure game that thrills, despite being light on puzzles and challenge.
For a game released near-identically across multiple platforms and generations, The Wolf Among Us holds up very well. If you can handle the lack of conventional gameplay and instead approach it as a ‘choose your own adventure’ with a slick script and voice work, check it out.
Telltale Games' The Wolf Among Us is the same masterclass in storytelling on PlayStation 4 as we'd seen before on last-gen consoles. However, the transition has only made some glitches and errors even more noticeable
