Gaucho and the Grassland is an adventure with hints of a farm simulator steeped in Brazilian folklore, but reflecting the culture of all of Latin America. It stands out not only for its open gameplay, but also for offering a heartfelt tribute to Latin American culture and folklore, a theme rarely explored in video games. It's true that Epopeia Games' title isn't going to redefine the genre, but it offers a different approach to farm simulators, placing narrative and exploration above the typical goal of making money.

Pax Augusta is a city builder that offers a historically accurate experience with unique mechanics, but it still needs work to shine in all its glory. It's a shame that the numerous bugs currently present in the game end up marring the experience. Still, I'm sure these issues will eventually be resolved over time. The potential is there, and Roger Gassmann is demonstrating all the passion he feels for his work.

With Songs of Silence, Chimera Entertainment proves that 4X strategy doesn't need multiple mechanics to offer a refreshing, artistically striking experience in the genre. The automatic battle system, even when it can be frustrating at times for not getting the results you want, gives it a unique personality and a gameplay loop with the ability to keep us in this world for hours.

PlaySide concludes the development of Age of Darkness: Final Stand by offering a survival RTS that has all the ingredients to keep us hooked for hours. A title with a good level of challenge that offers many hours of gameplay, but still needs some polishing. The strong point is in the survival mode. And that's where the title shines, as it has all the ingredients to keep us hooked from dusk till dawn.

After much work and numerous updates, Coffee Stain released Satisfactory version 1.0, bringing the management genre to its highest point. Coffee Stain gave life to something unique, where building a huge factory to produce just one item to send through the space elevator is quite an experience. Undoubtedly, a GOTY of life that -I'm sure- anyone who decides to give it a chance will really enjoy it.

Oxide Games seeks to make a place for itself in the 4X strategy with ARA: History Untold, a title that presents several interesting ideas with which it seeks to make a difference with respect to its peers. It's clear that the title needs some adjustments and possibly those responsible for it will fix several aspects in the months to come. Even so, it is still a good addition to the 4X strategy catalog, although it is far from the fight for the crown of the genre.

DeeDee Creations brings us Squirrel With a Gun, an absurd action game where we assume the role of a squirrel that must fight against secret agents using firearms. The humor it manages is good and original, without being forced to fall into the sexual or tawdry to get a laugh out of us. An interesting experience that could possibly be the kick-off for a small sack.

A title that stands out for its combat system, boss fights, and everything we can build. It is a constant invitation to advance and discover what else is ahead. All accompanied by a very striking art style and a soundtrack that accompanies every moment.

Millennia is a 4X strategy game that refers to Civilization, but far from being limited to copying, it seeks to innovate and provide differentiating elements within the genre. Of course, it has many things to fix, but the work of C Prompt Games can be enjoyed and with the necessary adjustments, it could become a title to have for every fan of the genre.

Roots of Pacha is an excellent video game, which I enjoyed a lot and that despite sharing several similarities, knows how to move away from the path of Stardew Valley. A title that embraces the roots of the genre but adding unique systems that suit it wonderfully, resulting in a very solid proposal.
