There's some disappointment over what Techland's game could and should have been after the announcement. The released title seems somewhat scaled back in its ambitions but remains a worthy successor to the parkour and zombie game from 2015.

Disappointment seems the right word to conclude this review of Digimon Survive. We knew we were getting a Visual Novel long before getting our hands on the game, but once we did, it felt like a questionable, if not unfortunate, choice. The plot is the only redeeming quality, but it can't save a production that risks boring players with its very slow pace and shallow gameplay.

Gotham Knights is yet another confirmation this generation that making a bigger game doesn't always mean making a better one. WB Games Montreal collapses under its ambition. It's a shame, as there was a good foundation to build on, but technical and gameplay issues result in a product overly repetitive in missions and far from the refinement of Batman's last console adventure in the distant 2015 with Arkham Knight.

FIFA 23 marks the best possible end to the nearly three-decade partnership between EA Sports and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. It could have been more daring, especially in modes, but this feels like an optimization chapter rather than an innovation one. For real novelties, we'll probably have to wait for EA Sports FC's debut next year. In the meantime, FIFA 23 delivers more realistic gameplay while still emphasizing the sport's spectacle.

Atomic Heart is an excellent debut title for Mundfish. What prevents the game from reaching excellence is the studio's excessive ambition to create a larger game than necessary, adding a somewhat useless open world instead of focusing exclusively on the indoor parts that best express the level design quality. Nonetheless, Atomic Heart has shown its potential and puts the Cypriot studio under a huge magnifying glass, making us curious to see their future projects. It's safe to say, a strong start!

For a game released so many years after its predecessor, much more was expected from Blood Bowl 3. Instead, we found ourselves with a sort of early access. Updating the game rules isn't enough to recommend purchasing the game. We suggest waiting to see how the gaming experience evolves and if the team resolves various issues, from content offerings to the aggressive monetization system. If you can't do without American football and blood or are curious about this type of game, we suggest Blood Bowl 2, which not only costs less but offers a much more complete experience with its Legendary Edition.
