Last Night of Winter is a fantastic Pixel Souls game that impresses with its unique humour. With a playing time of approx. 4 hours, the game offers a short story, but the atmospheric overall package is convincing. The playing time varies depending on the level of difficulty selected. However, it must be said that there is no New Game+ after playing through the game. Once the game has been played through, it starts all over again as if all memories had disappeared.

Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is an outstanding stealth action adventure game that will captivate us. Beyond Good & Evil is a real hidden gem that tells us a first-class and dark story in a loving universe that we won't soon forget. Beyond Good & Evil is definitely the best Ubisoft classic and a fantastic game that must be played. We can only warmly recommend the game and promise you that you are in for a damn good game.

With Destiny 2: The Final Form, we get a fantastic story DLC that exceeds our expectations. The Final Form offers both fans and newcomers the well-deserved finale to a long saga that remains exciting throughout. With its extensive content, we are offered something that will provide us with many hours of gameplay. The Final Form is the best Destiny 2 expansion to date and will continue to provide us with content in the future, although we will have to be patient.

Horizon Chase 2 is a fast-paced arcade racer that perfectly captures the vibe of the retro arcade racing games of the 90s. Horizon Chase 2 offers us a modernised version of the old classics and captivates with its fast-paced gameplay. However, with a playing time of just under 15 hours, you have already seen everything and the game only offers the necessary variety in the online races. Horizon Chase 2 makes a solid impression and is thoroughly convincing, although we would have liked a little more story input and more freedom when tuning our car.

INDIKA is a successful, story-driven arthouse game that kept us enthralled until the very end. Even though the game leaves many questions unanswered, you should take a look at the title, because you won't get this gaming experience again in a hurry. Another Crab's Treasure" is a fantastic "Shells-Like" adventure game with humorous dialogue and unique, intense battles. The Aggro Crab team has created a unique and beginner-friendly adventure based on the games from Formsoftware. Newcomers to the Souls genre can rejoice, because "Another Crab's Treasure" is an ideal game to familiarise yourself with the Souls world without frustration. But pros will also get their money's worth and will find challenging battles and a typical Souls world that is a clear love letter to the Darksouls games.

With "Final Fantasy VII Rebirth", Square Enix released the most anticipated sequel of the year on 29 February 2024. "Final Fantasy VII Rebirth" is a true RPG masterpiece and has exceeded all our expectations. Nevertheless, the question remains as to how the third and final instalment should be designed, as Rebirth has set the bar pretty high. It even goes so far that the remake, which is due to be released in 2020, seems more like a prologue in hindsight.

The Outlast Trials" is the best co-op survival horror game of the year and impresses with fantastically staged trials. "The Outlast Trials" convinces with sadistic ideas and provides maximum thrills in the evening hours. Red Barrels has definitely given us the horror co-op fun we've always wanted. That's why we strongly recommend playing the game with friends, because this co-op experience is definitely unique. We are excited to see what else the game has to offer in the future and can recommend it to any horror fan with strong nerves.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is currently the best JRPG available at the time of testing. With its extensive endgame and online co-op function, Relink offers us enormous gaming fun. However, we would have liked a more in-depth story, as we were not really convinced by it. It lacks depth, excitement and variety. The strength of "Granblue Fantasy: Relink" clearly lies in the endgame, when it comes to fighting the numerous bosses. We are looking forward to future content and can recommend the game despite the lack of story.

With "Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft", we received a fantastic remaster that impressed us. It clearly shows that old classics can still shine in modern times. The "new" adventure of Lara Croft is simply great. However, you have to bear in mind that we're still dealing with old games here, so I have to say right at the beginning that you have to have a high frustration threshold when it comes to one or two jump passages. Apart from that and a few bugs, it's a nice remaster, which is why we'd like to see more of them at this point. Aspyr has produced a really successful game here.

As was to be expected from the developers DON'T NOD, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden provides us with an exciting but also very emotional story that kept us hooked from start to finish. On the way to New Eden Town, we strengthen the bond between our two banners, get to know many well-written characters, uncover creepy secrets and explore varied landscapes. If you like mysterious action RPGs and have a penchant for the supernatural, you can hardly go wrong with your decision to pick up this game. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is an emotional rollercoaster ride with a high replay value.
