Despite the technical issues mentioned above, River City Girls Zero fulfills its purpose of providing a taste of more fighting in the presence of the immensely charismatic duo Kyoko and Misako. Given that times have changed, with a more inclusive environment for people who identify as female, it's actually quite pleasing that a spin-off title featuring empowered girls has become the franchise's flagship series.

The game's initial content is good, but if Nintendo doesn't feed it with new activities for each category, the lack of new stuff could drive some players away, even if it already is a solid final product.

Even in that cozy couch co-op, Samurai Warriors 5 on Nintendo Switch performs wonderfully. It makes you feel comfortable asking for help to get through that objective-filled level you couldn't handle on your own. Thanks to the console's hybrid design, you can play anywhere without compromising the fun. And with all this quality in its favor, Samurai Warriors 5 holds the title of best musou game available for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles at this moment.
