8 / 10.0 - Dragon Ruins II
Jan 3, 2026

Dragon Ruins II is a small game, clearly made with a limited budget and a different scope than traditional dungeon crawlers. Therefore, it would be unfair to judge it by the same standard. Within its premise of being a "dungeon crawler for tired people," it performs very well. For those who want to rest their minds with a bit of grinding and dungeon exploration, the game is a great choice. On the other hand, with its autobattler mechanics, it won't appeal to everyone and certainly isn't a game I would choose for my "main" gaming time, when I want something that demands a greater investment of time and attention.

Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved is a competent adventure game, capable of pleasing both newcomers and veterans. It features a well-constructed world, well-developed characters, and a very pleasing aesthetic. My main criticism is that it rarely manages to be more than just the sum of its parts: it's a well-executed game, but it doesn't stand out in any specific aspect when compared to other well-established games in the genre. It's ideal for those who want to discover if the genre is for them, especially since it's short and easy. Veterans should also enjoy it, although they may feel that Detective Instinct doesn't offer anything that other more acclaimed titles haven't already done.

7.5 / 10.0 - Stray Children
Nov 23, 2025

Stray Children is a beautiful and ambiguous game, capable of being both profound and simple, enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. Even with clear flaws, I couldn't stop playing until I reached the end. For those who don't want to decipher specific dialogue sequences or map dungeons from memory—something common in classic RPGs, it must be said—the experience can be exhausting, although still rewarding. Those who seek exactly that kind of challenge will find it a feast.

6 / 10.0 - Varlet
Oct 31, 2025

The impression VARLET gives is that the team had ambitions that they couldn't fit within the scope of the project, whether due to budget or time constraints. This results in irrelevant mechanics, a lack of challenge, and a mediocre story. It's a game with a very nice character design, a competent soundtrack—I really liked the music during a certain boss fight—and character development that positively surprised me. It's a game that will appeal to fans of titles from AQURIA or FuRyu; if you're not a fan, I recommend waiting for a sale: you'll find better games for a fraction of the price.
