Call of the Elder Gods is a confident and carefully crafted sequel that builds on the strengths of its predecessor, while delivering a rich Lovecraftian puzzle adventure rooted in strong atmosphere and smart design. While it occasionally struggles with pacing and cohesion, it remains a rewarding experience for all of those players who enjoy thoughtful, narrative-driven exploration.
