Voidling Bound is a phenomenal game with a lot of great parts that culminate in something truly unique. While it certainly isn't perfect and suffers from the same afflictions as similar games, what is there will keep players engaged and wanting more.
Fans of the creature collecting games may want to jump on this right way but just know that it’s more of a 3rd person shooter than it is Pokémon in execution. That doesn’t make it bad either, I quite enjoyed the game; much like some of the Voidlings I found, Voidling Bound just wasn’t what I thought it was at first glance.
Voidling Bound offers silly repetitive fun, especially if you have ever wished you could control your turn-based creature battlers directly, 3rd person shooter style. I had a great time, and whilst I'm sure mileage might vary, I recommend giving it a go.
Voidling Bound cleverly reinvents the creature-collector formula in combat, but is hampered by a limited species count and a difficulty system that demands nothing from you while offering little reward for pushing yourself.
Voidling Bound is a great monster taming game. It offers a plethora of different species, and the ability to experiment as you try to make the best, most powerful monsters you can.
Voidling Bound is an excellent science fiction monster collector that finds its identity in the growth, evolution and customization of creatures.

Voidling Bound provides lots of opportunities for fresh RPG mechanics that I had a fantastic time learning and mastering as I ungraded and customized my crew of unique creatures.
Voidling Bound offers a unique formula that successfully blends various influences in a generally compelling way. Its system of evolving creatures is clearly its greatest strength, as are its dynamic battles, which remain enjoyable for much of the adventure. The need to adapt to different types of enemies, the numerous possibilities offered by the skill trees, and the freedom given to the player to develop their team all contribute to an engaging experience. However, the game isn’t immune to certain issues of repetitiveness. The rapidly increasing difficulty sometimes forces you to repeat the same objectives over and over, while the lack of long-term variety in the missions eventually becomes noticeable.
