A great if flawed game that presents a lot of potential that might have been wasted in this first iteration of a fantastic idea. If this is the direction Pencil Test Studios is going, then I want to see more. It's fun, though short, and a bit buggy. But overall it's a great idea to pursue.
An fantastic singleplayer campaign with a multiplayer component that's both familiar and slightly evolved in all the best ways possible. You'll be hard pressed to not enjoy this game for the singleplayer story itself. One of the best stories ever created.
A good, if not great, game that focuses on the simpler things in life, making things go boom while giving you a plethora of options to do so. It might not be the most engaging, but the ability to log-in really quick to let off steam is great. And the music is fantastic!
Even though it's an Alone in the Dark game in name only, it still manages to make for a very intense and fun experience, belying the negative user reviews its gotten so far. If you actually play it, you might enjoy it.
A fantastically crafted psychological horror that places huge emphasis on story and narrative to drive the game.
This is the return to Carmageddon that we've been waiting for. It re-imagines all of the gory and violent things we love about this franchise in a fantastic way. Truly fun to play.
By-the-book DLCs that add more of what fans already love.
Endless Legend: Shadows adds a tremendous amount of value for a moderate price. Spying and espionage are actually useful mechanisms here and the new faction adds enough new content to make it a great buy. It's still entertaining, deep, and is very rewarding. Espionage itself is incredibly rewarding.
A fantastic isometric CRPG that has a very well developed story and great varied combat that just might be a bit on the tedious and boring side for those not wanting walls of text to read through.
Final Fantasy V is still an excellent RPG for anyone who enjoys a good, well thought out story and a classic adventure. It truly embodies superior RPG craftsmanship and rivals many modern RPG's in content and enjoyability. Most importantly? It's fun.
A fantastic game if but for a few flaws that might make it not as attractive as it could be. It doesn't quite live up to the hype, but that doesn't mean it's a terrible game to play. It's fun, but just don't think you'll enjoy it for more than a week. DLC makes it worthwhile, but it's too expensive.
A great ARPG and a great entry into the hack n' slash genre. It's compelling and engaging in ways you might not think such games traditionally are.
A very nice entry into the naval sandbox genre. Perhaps the only entry worth considering, and a great game in its own right. You can explore a vast world and do whatever you please to achieve your goals.
Evolve captures the imagination of our childhood and brings it to life. It does so with a complete sense of being there, as much as can be had in a game. It's great, but perhaps a bit too expensive.
A wonderful entry into the RTS that's full of promise and has a great future as a multiplayer powerhouse. Act of Aggression should definitely be tried if you're a fan of the genre and want a modern take on a classic story.
A great mash-up of sports and turn-based strategy in a fresh and exciting way. If you like anything fantasy and enjoy a good turn-based game, then you're likely to love this, regardless of whether you like sports or not.
An absolutely brilliant space sim that has no equal on the Xbox One. Despite the relative lack of "depth" and other small issues, Elite: Dangerous still manages to impress with a very dynamic, unique and incredible experience. For space sim fans, this will no doubt become a staple in this genre on console.
A very entertaining cross genre entry that blew us away with it's replay value and vehicular mayhem. If you like sports and cars, this game can provide a lot of fun.
An amazingly fun racing sim that can be fine-tuned to be challenging for both the beginner and the seasoned racing veteran. It's fun, addictive and also strikingly gorgeous.
A fantastic yet violent romp through an alternate history as narrated by BJ Blazkowicz. It shows us what a linear FPS can be like if made properly. It still amazes and wows with it's fantastic gameplay and marvelous story.
