As I’ve already said several times in this review, Resident Evil 5 is definitely worth picking up if you want a dumb action game. However if you’re looking for a horror game, I’d say you’re much better off picking up either Resident Evil or Resident Evil 0 HD for $20 a piece.
To make a long story short, I think God Eater is a good game and definitely one that any monster hunting fan should look into. For only $20, the game is practically a steal to hold you over until August when God Eater 2 comes out.
Once again Koei has created a fantastic strategy game that plays surprisingly well on a console, while not as immediately comfortable to play with a control as Nobunaga’s Ambition, which I own on both PC and PS4, but perfer the PS4 controls more.
It genuinely upsets me, not as a critique, but as a fellow gamer that this game turned out the way it did.
Atelier Sophie is a good game, just not a game for me personally, but I got to admit, I do love alchemy now. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go and build some bombs so let’s wrap this up. Creative Assembly has shown that they have great respect for the universe that Games Workshop has created and I can't wait to see what they do with the IP next. Who knows, maybe next time we'll get a Total War game set in the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium, where there is only war.
Homefront isn't really a terrible game, and if you're a diehard fan of Red Dawn or Far Cry, I'm sure you'll find something here for you.
There is a wealth of content here for the singleplayer gamer such as myself, and while the multiplayer is fun, I can't help but feel it will be dead within the year.
