Part Two of Ties that Bind literally picks up where Part One left off, not only in story, but also with its tension and suspense, and going forward, this could be the most dark and moral questioning season yet from Telltale.
Telltales powerful method of storytelling shows no signs of fading and this opening episode proves evident with the introduction of its cast of new characters and furthermore, the evolution of Clementine.
"Episode 5 ‘City of Light’ gathers just about all the emotions you experienced from this entire debut season, and bundles it into my chaotic, emotional, brutal and epic finale."
Guardian of Gotham is a fantastic penultimate episode that potentially opens the doors to become one of Telltale’s most rewarding and fulfilling season’s yet.
Titanfall 2 is a game that doesn’t deserve to be lost in the crowd, as it is one of 2016’s best, hands down.
Dishonored 2 is a fantastic game which offers the player more choice than ever before in a world that is arguably even more seductive.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare certainly isn’t the best in the series, but it’s by no means the worst and truth be told, yes there maybe better options out there, but regardless, this is still arguably one of the best FPS games that you’ll play this year.
Battlefield 1 is a rarity, a game that in my humble opinion, has most certainly lived up to the hype.
In 2011, Skyrim is rightly considered to be one of the greatest RPG’s of all-time and now in 2016 with its Special Edition remaster, it still stands loud and proud as one of the best on the market.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is the perfect title for the PSVR. It’s a fast and frantic, rollercoaster house of horrors that needs to be in your collection. You’ll descend into madness and you’re going to love every minute of it!
Batman Arkham VR was never a spin-off to the main series that I expected to see making use of Virtual Reality. However, even though its campaign is very short-lived, it presents some very clever ideas that excites me for the future of VR.
When Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare released in 2007, it became an instant classic. Now in 2016 we have Modern Warfare Remastered and it’s arguably the best remaster I’ve played, it’s just a shame that it’s currently not available as a standalone purchase.
Finally the wait is over, as Rise of the Tomb Raider is available for PS4 owners with the release of the 20 Year Celebration. It’s packed with added content that ensures that one of 2015 best games now becomes one of the best games of 2016. It’s time to celebrate all things Tomb Raider!
Episode three “Children of Arkham” focuses more heavily on the life of Bruce Wayne himself, which potentially makes the choices you make all the more difficult. Following the aftermath of episode 2, episode 3 sure looks to be volatile.
Mafia II made me feel like I'm a part of a mobster story, but somewhere along the way, Mafia III has lost the series identity. Sadly, this is an offer you can refuse.
Rise of Iron is Destiny’s latest big expansion before the full sequel drops next year and while it doesn’t offer the kind of overhaul that we saw with The Taken King, it should keep even the most dedicated of Guardian’s busy, for now.
Gears of War 4 just may be the console seller that you’ve been waiting for. Gear Up!
To celebrate its 10 year anniversary since the release of the first game, Capcom has released all three last gen Dead Rising games as a bundled collection. However, despite being somewhat a mixed bag of tricks, this collection is a fantastic way to get reacquainted with the series.
Episode Two ‘Children of Arkham’ picks up directly from the episode one’s cliff-hanger and is full of tough choices and intense drama, both as Batman and Bruce Wayne.
This is one of the finest gaming series to ever grace the industry, and you owe it to yourself to own this piece of gaming history. Now would you kindly go and buy Bioshock: The Collection at your earliest convenience.
