A perfectly fine addition to the Borderlands series with some great new mechanics and a delightful theme, but it is practically the same as its predecessors for better or worse
Rocket Arena is a fresh take on the hero shooter genre with great gameplay mechanics and character design, but there are some minor elements holding it back from perfection
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood is arguably the most well rounded of the DLCs so far, with decent story, characters, environments, and mechanics, but it doesn't excel in any specific area
Mixing Borderlands' witty banter with Lovecraftian horror and a slight hint of seriousness makes for an interesting experiment that pays off in spades.
Sam's Story offers more of a good thing, though the dialogue can be improved and some new features will be frustrating
Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is a fantastic first step for Borderlands 3's DLC, featuring tons of viable loot, fun boss fights, a decent story with nonstop action, and plenty of new characters
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a no frills upgrade of the game that shaped a generation of FPS, featuring a surprisingly good story and deep weapon customization
The Division 2- Pentagon: The Last Castle meets the bare minimum for post launch content, offering little of substance other than a few new boss mechanics and a balancing/loot update that should've been released long ago
Borderlands 3 improves upon the Borderlands formula in every way possible, showing what a looter shooter is capable of when the basic requirements like a coherent story and cool loot are not just fulfilled, but exceeded
While the exploration and brief bursts of combat in The Two Colonels DLC could be expanded upon, Colonel Khlebnikov's character development makes Artyom seem dull by comparison
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is more or less just as good as its predecessors but the implementation of some of the new gameplay features leave the tiniest of imperfections in an otherwise excellent game
Stellaris' latest DLC, Ancient Relics, explores a familiar sci-fi trope in a unique way. It's an excellent addition to the game that features great writing and a ton of depth
Battlefield V is a beautiful game that introduces some interesting new mechanics into an otherwise familiar genre. Combat is lethal but thrilling, and teamwork is more important than ever. The campaign is adequate, but you're not missing much if you skip it.
Forsaken is what Destiny 2 should've been at launch, featuring a new PvP mode, a serious story filled with intrigue, and fairly compelling characters. While this is the best that Destiny has ever been, improvements can still be made
Distant Stars has some promising new content, but most of it is locked behind the high variance that come with Stellaris map generation
A great, even exceptional, game if you want a quick pirate fix, but there's not much to do after the first couple of hours.
Stellaris' Cherryh update does much to make combat actually enjoyable, while the Apocalypse DLC acts like extra frosting on an already delightful cake, though it's definitely not going to be for everyone given the nature of the game and the learning curve.
An excellent game that delivers an above average amount of gameplay for its cost, giving you the freedom to utilize an interesting set of powers to track down and kill a god. Beautiful environments and varied objectives more than make up for changes to the Chaos mechanic from previous games in the series.
Love it or hate it, Rise of Iron offers more Destiny with almost no real changes or fixes to the problems that have plagued the release since launch.
