8.2 / 10.0 - Into the Pit
Oct 28, 2021

‎There is no denying that Into the Pit is easily classifiable as "another indie more pixelated retro fps roguelike to forget", and for my part I do not plan to make an exception, because exactly that is it. But now I ask you not to forget it, and if you can, take a look at it. And maybe hopefully, you will be amazed and think about how wonderful the Game Pass is for offering us magical moments of vice like the one I have had with the title of Humble Games and Nullpointer. Because the game, it's really good.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Ghostrunner
Oct 6, 2021

‎Run, jump on a wall, another and another, surround our enemy sliding, throw the hook, position ourselves behind it to frame 3 in a row and with a single button leave a relentless trail of blood. To get to choreograph that scene, you need to learn, you need to try and you need to have the skill. ‎‎The result at the controls is totally addictive because of its frenetism and the imperative need to continue advancing.‎‎ If we add to that that we already have a native version for the new generation that brings all the necessary cargo including Ray Tracing, the cocktail is devastatingly fun.‎

8 / 10.0 - In Sound Mind
Sep 27, 2021

‎Of the 5 days I have had to do this analysis, the interest in 'In Sound Mind' grew in each of the sessions I dedicated to it in the same way that the title gained interest. In my penultimate game I did not think that I had almost 4 and a half hours without stopping playing, something that had not happened to me for a long time. I was very involved, in the plot, in the gameplay, in opening the next door, in definitively defeating one of the bosses. It is the result of a good work, of well-applied ideas, which even to an individual back from all the Survival Horror, has known how to surprise. It even allows a couple of moments that bring a smile to your face.‎

‎Quake Remastered or simply this new version of Quake is a success to put back in today one of the greatest classics in the history of the video game. Technically it has gotten a very interesting facelift and that brings it up to date enough to discover that the title is still just as fun as the first day. However, some bad startup settings or a clear focus on the PC version, leave in evidence problems with the controls with the controller, which does not end up feeling comfortable after the adjustments we have indicated, something that is aggravated with the multiplayer, which I do not directly recommend on console.‎

Psychonauts 2 is undoubtedly the best title Double Fine has produced in its 20 years of life. A unique, original and, above all, fun adventure.

‎The most obvious conclusion of Necromunda Hired Gun is that it's a shame. The technical difficulties are easily solvable, but they discourage any player from starting a game, being the most advisable to wait for a first patch that fixes the aiming and the strange ghosting. Since the gameplay is directly affected and the title bases its fun on it, the reasons for recommending it decrease to insalvables levels.‎

7.5 / 10.0 - Maid of Sker
Jun 4, 2021

‎Maid of Sker is an interesting game, a Survival Horror that tries to gain an audience with a little-worked next-gen conversion, but with a lot of room for enjoyment. In addition, it is not the most terrifying game in the Xbox Series catalog and I appreciate that, because the scare and tension are sometimes valued above the terror, which can directly scare more than one person with a weak heart.‎

‎Resident Evil Village is an excellent game, but it's probably not the best Resident Evil or the one we've been most surprised by. What we're sure of is that today, it won't let anyone down. Everyone will remember Lady Dimitrescu tomorrow, who has almost become an icon of the saga in a short time, but I will not forget how badly I spent it in the Benaviento house, which really makes us think about how many heart attacks Capcom would cause if he decided to make a game of real fear.‎

‎It's lucky Square Enix decided to make this new version. The 2010 NieR Replicant was already a rough diamond that only NieR Automata managed to take to the general public, and having this legendary story updated for this generation of players is something we should appreciate, ‎‎turning the title into something essential and unforgettable, transforming what was a cult game in 2010, into a renewed classic.‎‎ That seemingly crazy designer who is Yoko Taro throws all sorts of arguments to our faces without plugging, but as players we have to strive to uncover the truth behind the curtain.‎

Stubbs the Zombie deserved more then, but not now. A too simple port that fails to attract attention to an outdated game.

Do not get carried away by the impressions or analysis of each year's shift, not even ours, Call of Duty and by extension Black Ops Cold War, is always a great game. The quality standards with their predecessors already establish an enormous self-demand, from which we can only benefit. I always say it, Call of Duty is a safe purchase every year. For the same price you have a brutal Campaign, one of the best and most addictive multiplayer and bonus, the Zombies mode, ideal for cooperative.

7 / 10.0 - Bright Memory
Nov 12, 2020

Obviously, Bright Memory has some important shortcomings, which are noticeable in the cameras, animations of our character in the cinematics or in the manufacture itself and details of characters or enemies. Everything is disguised as graphic effects, but we cannot forget again that it is an indie title, created by a single person on Unreal Engine and that it costs € 7.99. Knowing that this was the first chapter and that he finally decided to make a complete game, which we also know as Bright Memory: Infinite, we have many unknowns to solve that in an 8-hour game they manage to keep the user attentive with something more quality than the brilliance-brilliance of the graphics (beware, there will be many for whom this is enough).
