Despite the repetitiveness, Cattails does provide a lot of different things to do from romancing other cats, to starting your own community of cats. It offers something different from the usual RPG game and is well worth checking out if you are tired of the cookie cutter RPGs out there.
Overall Light Fall is a nice addition to the platforming genre, with some unique environments, unfortunately it falls short when it comes to difficulty. Adding the ability to create platforms at will seems like a good idea on paper, however it falls short when it allows you to skip large sections of the map with ease.
If you are looking for a bullet-hell game that has roguelike elements to sink a great number of hours into, look no further than People Eater!
While some people may be looking for a similar experience to Super Meatboy, full of stressful levels that require some serious reflexes and problem solving, OVIVO offers the exact opposite. It's a relaxing experience that doesn't really challenge the mind or reflexes, instead it's more like weaving your way through a maze of fantastic artwork. Overall the game has nice simple mechanics and some lovely visuals and audio, however it falls short when it comes to difficulty, replayability, and price.
Dark Train has broken the mold when it comes to puzzle games and created a very dark and engaging experience, despite not having a storyline. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a puzzle game that does not hold your hand.
Astervoid 2000 takes the classic Asteroids game and adds a solid twist to the gameplay that turns it into a fast paced, reflexive arcade game that is a blast to play on the couch with a group of friends.
The game very accurately depicted the anime and nailed the speed and ferocity of slaying titans, although I do find the price point to be just a little bit too high for what the game actually gives you in content.
The game is challenging and that’s how it should be, because without the extreme challenge the game would be about as exciting as Vaseline on toast. I can definitely recommend this game for lovers of platform games such as Super Meat Boy and Rogue Legacy and is certainly a welcome addition to the genre.
While I'm not a fan of baseball or sport micromanagement games, I can still appreciate Out of the Park for what it is, a solid game that has a butt load of features. Anyone who is a fan of baseball or games like Football Manager should definitely check this game out.
If you are looking for an excellent 16-bit fighter game then look no further than Punch Club as it's a hell of a lot of fun to play and sink some hours into.
Overall, No Time To Explain is one of those games you can pick up for a couple of minutes or play for hours. It's a great way to kill some time and if you like platformers I can definitely recommend it.
The Flock attempts to create something unique by giving it a limited shelf life, however the game has such little content that the ticking timer of player lives will probably never be reached.
Overall Carmageddon: Reincarnation fails in almost every way to be an enjoyable revisit to arcade style racing mixed with running over pedestrians. The game is a hassle to start, not optimized, and no fun whatsoever.
While the AI in Endless Legend is rather lackluster the rest of the game provides a fresh perspective on the RTS/4X genre.
While there are some problems with release day DLC and graphical display issues, Press Play has created something truly unique in this indie game and it is well worth the price!
While Dungeons 2 is no hidden gem or game of the year candidate it certainly does have its quirks and fun gameplay to make it a worthy addition to one's game library.
Deathtrap is a game that has all the functional workings of a tower defense game and depth of an RPG, which makes for a surprisingly good combination. For such a low price it's hard to go wrong with a game like this, while most tower defense games tend to get boring after a few hours, Deathtrap keeps you wanting more and more action. There were very few aspects of the game that I did not like and those were easy enough to forget about because of how entertaining the rest of the game is. I would highly recommend Deathtrap to any fan of tower defense games as it is a fresh take on the genre.
