Episode 1 sets us up for one hell of a good season and I can’t wait to see what happens in Episode 2.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is as close to flawless as video games get.
If you already own Rise on Xbox One or PC, there's no reason to buy it again. The new content is absolute crap and neither the additional skins, nor the included DLC warrant buying this game again. That being said, the core game remains excellent in almost every way; if you're solely a PS4 owner, now is your time to experience the next chapter in Lara's epic tail.
Arkham Asylum ranks up there with the best of the last-generation and is simply a must-play.
A massive, hard strategy game, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension is a hard sell for anyone other than the devoted strategy fan
This is Ubisoft doing what it does best.
Yakuza 0 is a game best experienced than read about. It’s the culmination of over a decade of refinement and improvements
Resident Evil 7 takes the essence and the DNA of Resident Evil and makes something that feels both nostalgic and brand new.
It’s such an easy title to just pick up and play. I’d recommend upping the difficulty above where you’d think you’d sit, but beyond that dive-in and blow some Nazi brains out.
There’s a lot to see and do in Wildlands and even after 30+ hours I’m still enjoying trekking through the rain-forest and discovering new ways to play
Horizon is a better game than BotW and while maybe not as ‘important,’ Horizon is the game that will have a lasting, personal impression.
It’s cute, it’s fun and it’s best played with friends.
Bye-Bye BoxBoy! is one of the best 3DS games I’ve played in ages. It will be the same for you too.
It may not have quite the level of polish of a AAA title, but it’s more than worth your time.
I love Yooka-Laylee, unashamedly. I’ve only finished it recently, but already I want to start again and do it all over
Prey is undeniably a magnificent piece of science-fiction and a must-play videogame
Death Squared is the kind of game you pull out at a party and get everyone to try.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, not Breath of the Wild, is the absolute best reason to own the Switch.
Mark it down as an early contender for Game of the Year.
It’s great that Intelligent Systems and Nintendo is trying to further the genre, but this time they haven’t succeeded.
