Ronald Goncalves's Reviews

Student of Economics and Political Science, I live in Venezuela as a way of facing death everyday, at least until I can, hopefully, become its president. Meanwhile, I do awful reviews and articles in Areajugones, trying to do my best to be part of the evolution of the young interactive art.

Sloclap has delivered one of the best indie games of this 2017. Although it lacks a deep and more interesnting story, it has unique combat and gameplay mechanics that are rewarded with a great progression. An amazing journey and a stunning game.

The personal journey of Fury against the Seven Deadly Sins is simply amazing, and everything is set towards the future for Strife to come and end this awesome epic.

NFERNIUM isn't like any other game we've played before, and it's incredible. Dishonored meets Pac-Man and Dark Souls in a metroidvania way that, with breath-taking aesthetics and a deep level design, takes us to an indescribable travel to the underworld.

‎Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is, in short, a masterpiece within the metroidvanias... and outside of them. Finesterra brings us one of the most memorable epics of the whole year, offering us a decadent universe as tragic as beautiful that perfectly adorns a precise, complex and fun gameplay. In short, an essential acquisition for fans of the genre, for non-followers of the genre and for anyone who wants to give a gift to themselves. Absolute recommendation.‎
