Destiny 2: Lightfall is an expansion with two opposing aspects, that can be seen as the mirror image of the previous The Witch Queen. Weak in narrative content, it shows its best in perfecting the gaming experience, understood as that set of tools to fully enjoy the potential of our guardians. The hope now is that Bungie will put an extra effort into delivering Seasons full of content and capable of keeping the attention high towards the end of a saga a bit… paracausal.

A horror that does not bring new elements to the genre and suffers from several conceptual problems, although not so serious as to reject the experience as a whole.

A Plague Tale: Requiem represents a worthy sequel to its prized predecessor, as well as the overwhelming confirmation of Asobo Studio's capabilities.

Beacon Pines is an adventure that takes shape before the player's eyes, but the gameplay feels so much limited because of the narrative. Despite that, it tries to tell a meaningful arc that overshadows its shortcomings by delivering a coming-of-age story in which it is worth diving.

Finally mature and complete, Grounded is a game that has a lot to offer and little to be forgiven for.

The judgment on Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed is very similar to that given for the remake of the first episode, two years ago: a game that under a renewed graphics doesn't bring anything new compared to its original incarnation. A nice and light pastime for those who miss the series or for those who have never approached it. Excessive ease is its biggest flaw, because it leaves wide prairies to boredom when you realize that it all boils down to a series of tasks to be done with the brain off, and comic skits that make the cinema verse of the '50 and '60.

A platformer based on a few rules, which flows without strokes of genius or resounding failures. Potentially an excellent gateway to the world of video games for the youngest.

Halo Infinite as a game is a solid and fun job. As a chapter in a series that has always been characterized by strong epic traits, it is little more than a simple prologue.

Far Cry 6 immerses us in a large open world with a ton of possibilities and a great cast of characters, but it fails to make a real splash compared to previous installments in the series, while also providing a too low challenge level to the player.

Several times, while playing In Sound Mind, I wondered what it would have been if the same game had a higher production caliber. We Create Stuff's work has so much personality and so many beautiful ideas, and offers to the player an intelligent and fun experience. Too bad for the technical shortcomings, which cripple him in terms of fluidity and visual impact, making it a little less pleasant to go through the nightmares that unfold from Dr. Wales's recordings.

I would not call Twelve Minutes just an experiment, because the result is convincing in every aspect and the perfectible parts are absolutely minor. The experience packaged by Luis Antonio and Annapurna is another excellent example of the possibilities that videogames can offer, both in narrative and interactive terms.

This short DLC can be seen as a sum of everything that makes Gears… Gears. The short duration allowed the screenwriters to give shape to a tighter and more cinematic story, all embellished with quite varied scenarios and a graphic impact among the best in circulation. Perhaps there remains a bit of the bitterness of not having seen Hivebusters exploited as a Trojan horse with which to experiment with the introduction of something new in terms of gameplay. But, after all, fans of the Microsoft franchise will be able to enjoy another three unreleased hours in single player or cooperative.

Call Of The Sea is a good debut, that uses puzzle and riddle-based gameplay to tell an atmospheric story. Its weakness lies in a conception of riddles that is not always very clear, source of some moments of frustration, and in a limited duration. It will probably not remain among the most notable examples of the genre, but we must give credit to the fact that it manages to offer an alternative vision of the Lovecraftian narrative universe, potentially capable of satisfying those who do not always want monsters or scares.

It is undeniable that Immortals: Fenyx Rising owes much to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it is equally undeniable that the Ubisoft game manages to find its way and to propose its own vision. Those who do not appreciate open-worlds very much, where the fulcrum is the collection of treasures and the completion of challenges, could perceive more than others a sense of repetitiveness, which never becomes boring and which takes advantage of a clean technical realization. I enjoyed every minute spent on the Golden Island and at the end I was sad to say goodbye.

A solid remaster of a good RPG, with great combat mechanics and interesting lore, but with several problems inherited from the original game. A game suited more to newcomers to the game, while the ones who already played it won't find many reasons to replay it.

Maneater palys safe. He chooses simple mechanics and proposes them in ad ten and more hours loop, but in doing so, however, it makes the right choice, because Maneater is a well crafted and fun title. Those who are not afraid to do the same thing over and over again to become the lord of the oceans will find flesh for their teeth.

The return of Resident Evil 3 manages to maintain the balance between memory and adaptation. Even if the renunciation of certain characteristic aspects of the original game could disappoint the most avid fans, the care taken in the reconstruction of the atmosphere and of the feeling it is visible an above all, perceivable. Nemesis could have been more time on the stage, of course, but even so its presence hovers in the apocalypse of Raccoon City, and when it finally manifests itself it is as beautiful as it is distressing. Though: twenty years later, its threat it can be put back into perspective and the blows exchanged between peers.

Blair Witch manages to offer a gameplay that has reached its limits by propping it up with an intriguing storyline, a good dose of atmosphere and a couple of interesting mechanics. However, it tends to overdo in the end and, above all, he needs a little more technical cleaning.
