5.5 / 10.0 - Open Country
Jun 10, 2021

Even if Open Country tries to differentiate itself from other similar games, it can't succeed in its task. The many implemented features are not a novelty and they fails to shine in a way or another. Moreover, the game feels unpolished due to many bugs and problems that can be often encountered. Right now, Open Country is no more than a beautiful place to watch landscapes from the top of a mountain.

Little Nightmares 2 is a little gem for those who want to enjoy a less splatter and more psychological horror experience. The Swedish team has managed to re-propose with an improved look the formula seen in the first chapter, which catapults us into an even darker world than the one seen previously. The new monsters are even more disturbing and make even more the idea of oppression that the title wants to convey. Surely some more playful element would have pleased, starting from the not too high longevity, and from some greater interaction with Six, which in any case all in all manages to be a good companion of gloomy adventures.

8 / 10.0 - The Falconeer
Dec 21, 2020

Despite being a one-person game, The Falconeer outperforms many other, more famous titles in some ways thanks mainly to an interesting narrative component that puts the game world at the center, rather than a single character. There are some ities in terms of inventory management and three-dimensional movement, but this does not seriously penalise an experience that should be experienced as soon as possible.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Outer Worlds
Nov 1, 2019

The Outer Worlds is the confirmation that the players disappointed by the latest Fallout were looking for. Obsidian proves he knows how to make a good RPG without necessarily having to twist the cards on the table thanks to a title that takes us back to nine years ago, when we explored the Mojave of New Vegas. We are certainly not talking about the definitive game, but we can not help but advise all lovers of the genre (and not) to have a picnic for Alcione.

8.5 / 10.0 - Unruly Heroes
Feb 9, 2019

Apart from some uncomfortable sections due to commands that are not too reactive, this indie turns out to be a little gem to be played, maybe even in company.

4 / 10.0 - Past Cure
Mar 12, 2018

A flawed production that, despite a few interesting ideas, fails to engage the player with a boring campaign and one of the worst uses of the Unreal Engine that we've seen in this generation.

7 / 10.0 - Atomega
Sep 20, 2017

Atomega is a missed opportunity. The choice of reveal the game one week before its launch penalizes a nice job from a talented developer studio as Reflections. Atomega offers a simple gameplay and a dreamlike setting, but despite that and a tempting launch price, the lack of variety in both game modes and maps cause players to feel bored after a few matches. We hope that in future the dev team can add more contents in order to provide more variety to an interesting experience.

7 / 10.0 - Dystoria
Mar 15, 2017

Dystoria is a nice six-axis sci-fi shooter that offers some interesting challenges, but its mechanics and level design are flawed by several issues that make difficult to enjoy it for more than a couple of hours.

Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem is a nice party game to spend your Saturday nights with your friends, but only if you own an Xbox One controller, given that any other USB controller won't work with the game. Things are even worse when it comes to online multiplayer, which is ruined by empty servers and nobody to play with. The lack of a single-player mode does not allow users to enjoy a great and fun gameplay by themselves.
