As a collection, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is pretty pointless. If you're a fan of Kishimoto's manga and for some reasons you didn't play Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Full Burst when it was originally released, you can buy just this one game. In addition, the switch conversion is pretty sloppy.

6.7 / 10.0 - Sakura Wars
Apr 27, 2020

From a certain point of view Sakura Wars is an anachronistic game, made for a specific audience that has evolved over time. The ease and repetitiveness of the title's gameplay overwhelms the overall quality, despite good art direction.

6.7 / 10.0 - Go Vacation
Aug 1, 2018

Go Vacation has several problems, too many to interest veteran players. That said, it could be a highly recommended purchase if you have little brothers or small children at home, eager to get their hands on your switch.

6.7 / 10.0 - The Way Remastered
Apr 18, 2018

A charming game with an astonishing atmosphere, The Way Remastered will surely be a splendid Flashback-like adventure in the near future. Sadly, Sonka's porting is "today" quite unstable tot the point that we had not been able to see the ending becouse of a sudden crash and a corrupted autosave: beware, if you want to buy the game before a fixing patch!

6.8 / 10.0 - Rune Factory 5
Mar 28, 2022

Rune Factory 5 is a good game, but it's hamstrung by a mediocre technical implementation. Fans of the series will be able to find the usual series of bucolic activities to do between dungeons, but those who appreciate nice-looking and fluid graphics will find it hard not to prefer Stardew Valley.

6.8 / 10.0 - World's End Club
May 27, 2021

This is not the game that will bring instant glory to Too Kyo Games, as World's End Club is rather mediocre. The narrative is intriguing, but the arcade sequences are visually very basic and offer little to no challenge. A half faux pas, considering the developers behind it.

6.8 / 10.0 - Poison Control
Apr 12, 2021

Poison Control has some good ideas, but executed very superficially. An appealing but extremely simple game, its best merits are a good art direction and the hilarious writing. The rest is quite forgettable.

6.8 / 10.0 - Trials of Mana
Apr 22, 2020

Trials of Mana is a lacklustre remake of a masterpiece from another era. It's nothing special, but old-fashioned JRPG fans might appreciate it if you turn a blind eye.

Journey to Foundation is a game that is greater than the sum of its parts: the absolute merit of the original work is set against the backdrop of mechanics and ideas that are limited and already seen, but when put together manage to function as pieces in the complex and fascinating mosaic that Foundation has always been. Do not, however, expect a revolutionary or particularly challenging VR experience.

7 / 10.0 - Pac-Man Museum+
May 26, 2022

Lots of games, but not all stars among Pac-Man's birthday guests. The essential emulation gives a no-frills experience to the old glories in a context tailor-made for chasing the online leaderboards, but the absolute lack of extras is a great disappointment.

Clockwork Aquario is a miracle of preservation, but that doesn't make it a game for everyone. Arcade fans will welcome it, but others will find it difficult to continue playing after finishing it the first time, and the scoring system isn't particularly creative. In any case, the low price should keep even the merely curious happy.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection offers three high-adrenaline action games that are still splendid today. This is the only, partial redemption for a collection incapable of convincing, lazy in implementation and technically inconsistent, especially on Switch.

The little Ball That Could shows a good style in its attempt of a Marble Madness revival. The creature of NaissusWorks is fascinating and playable title, peculiar in the presentation and clear in the controls response. On the other hand, visual aspects could have been far better, even in their geometric simplicity.

A remake only makes sense when it truly enhances the original game. Guess what? This is not the case. For lack of a better option, it's best played on a Super Nintendo Classic Mini. The best way to describe this remake is "unnecessary", and it could be worth your time only if you don't have any other way to play the original.

The combat system of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the natural evolution of what we played on PSP: exhilarating, impressive to see and fun to play, and it reminds us of how good is Team Ninja in developing action games. All we miss out on is everything else: few interesting game modes, cosmetic-only customisation options, and a truly messy online framework. Our honest advice? Wait and see how things will evolve in the near future.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is not a bad game per se, there are no real flaws or problems, but the overall experience is a little bland and generic. Things get a little (but just a little) better if you play with some friends, even in PvP. It's your typical product that will only please the hardcore fans of the original material, nothing more.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 4K & Full HD Remaster is a decent new version of a decent game: the graphical options are good and allow to have a beautiful experience on the more modern screens. The combat system is still intriguing, but everything else is pretty dull and predictable, without any new feature to justify the buy if you already played it seven years ago.

7.2 / 10.0 - Valkyrie Elysium
Oct 3, 2022

Valkyrie Elysium's combat system is sufficiently complex and entertaining, which is good, considering that what remains of the game is quite forgettable. A decent game for fans of the tri-Ace saga, but certainly not essential. Also because, if you're hungry for Norse adventures, there's a certain god of war waiting for you at the end of November...

7.2 / 10.0 - Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
Jul 12, 2021

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is a successful and must-have Japanese RPG for Adol fans, but it's not the decisive step forward that a legendary series like Ys deserves. The Switch version is plagued by too many technical uncertainties.
