Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty seems like a Nioh spin-off: same game structure, same issues and same assets. Despite that, the introduction of new gameplay elements like Morale Rank, Spirit Gauge and Wizardry Spells helped Team Ninja to make another compelling game.

Lost Between Worlds is the latest unnecessary DLC in a sixth chapter that clearly shows numerous cracks in its structure. After the three DLCs dedicated to the main villains of the previous games, the result of a lazy reskin that we have already widely criticized, this last content fails to raise the fate of a series that absolutely needs to reinvent itself right away, if it does not want to sink slowly into the great sea of mediocrity.

The expansion of Resident Evil: Village uses the most cunning of premises to recycle a couple of areas of the main adventure, reworking them to make them somehow different to go through. We find it to be the quickest way to complete a lazy and uninspired job, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of history. Although the saga of the Winters family has been given the right conclusion, the end result smacks of potential gone to waste.
