Nazih Fares's Reviews
As fun as the original, Overcooked 2 is a better version thanks to subtle changes in gameplay but mainly the addition of online multiplayer. A must-have for friends!
Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron is a solid SHMUP that offers a hint of RPG for good measure, which will satisfy lovers of a genre.
Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is exactly what a franchise tie-in game is, mixing known gameplay mechanics and ideas to a world built by an iconic animated series, without really excelling anything. It's still a great entry point into the world of turn-based RPG for some and will definitely appeal to fans of the animated series for sure.
While not really considered a game per traditional sense, The Mooseman is still a great educational experience that will introduce you to the myth of the ancient Chud tribes.
Mugsters doesn't look like much at first sight until you discover it's one hilarious physics-based puzzle game that will get you hooked, especially when playing with a friend. For the price, you shouldn't miss this game from Team 17 and Reinkout Games.
As you would expect it, Traveller's Tales has no intention to change its formula with LEGO The Incredible, and that's starting to be shameful.
Without overdoing it with fancy graphics, Squids Odyssey is a neat compilation of a fun franchise full of great mechanics, available on the Nintendo Switch.
There's definitely good intention with this sequel, even if The Crew 2 is not the groundbreaking upgrade we expected from Ivory Tower. While the game is still solid in terms of mechanics and gameplay, some weaknesses might not appeal to newcomers, and fans of the original will be disappointed by the lack of PVP at launch.
Now available on the Nintendo Switch after its original launch in 2012, Paranautical Activity really does not stand out from the competition due to its lack of originality
Now available on the Nintendo Switch, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is less beautiful than the original PlayStation 4 and the other new platforms, but is still an excellent experience that you can play on the go. A must for nostalgic players or platforming fans.
Now available on Nintendo Switch as Anima: Gate of Memories: Arcane Edition, this innovative Action JRPG game is full of good intention, great storyline, and solid gameplay even if it's not technically on par with bigger budget games.
If you own a Nintendo Switch or plan to get it soon, it would be inconceivable not to grab Lumines Remastered, unless Puzzle games are not your thing.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana might not be the most gorgeous game there is, but it's an excellent JRPG adventure that will keep you busy with a hefty amount of playing time.
Now available on the Nintendo Switch with two storylines to experience in one package, Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory is a great action-RPG that has some interesting mechanics to appeal to fans of the genre.
Now available on Nintendo Switch, Happy Birthdays is an interesting god game that brings a bit of revival to the genre. The new console edition has a number of improvements that make it easier and more accessible than the original title and will be perfect educational game for a family.
Onrush is a fast arcade racing game, which will have enough to please fans if it continuously offers free content and a solid ranked mode. There are some bugs that taint the picture, but they are acceptable, and hopefully, future patches will correct them and evolve the game so that we can continue to ride for a long time.
Now available on the Nintendo Switch, The Banner Saga 2 retains the excellent foundation of its predecessor without any major upgrade of the formula, but that's not a bad thing. Fans of the series should not skip this, and it's a definitively needed chapter before the upcoming end of the trilogy.
MotoGP 2018 is merely an update of last year's game, rather than the groundbreaking renewal of the franchise Milestone claims it is. While the job is well done on the important points of the game, it's not enough to really feel like a different game, but fans will not be disappointed.
State of Decay 2 is a disappointing game but not really a failure. While Undead Labs have managed to add so many elements that were missing in the original title, they sadly failed to fix the same bugs that kind of plagued the first game. Good intention, but bad execution, yet I'm sure some hardcore sandbox and survival management players will enjoy it.
Shape of the World is more of an interactive experience than a game, but that shouldn't push you away from trying it.
