Kandagawa Jet Girls uses an unusual theme and inspirations from other great games in the arcade racing genre. However, the title fails to reach the level of its inspirations. Even within the developer's portfolio, Kandagawa looks strangely unfinished in many ways.

Custom Mech Wars is a fun game if you like to create and test mechs and repeat this cycle over and over again. It is a title aimed at this niche player and, in addition, it lacks important options such as publishing your mechs online or a wider variety of scenarios in the campaign. Gungrave G.O.R.E was a title that surprised positively, but ended up disappointing. Travis Strikes Again marks a new start for the No More Heroes series and it's a comemmoration of Grasshopper Entertainment 20 year history. Even within the weird and incredible game catalog from the developer, TSA is an unique game which long-time fans will find it endearing. For those that still don't know the developer, there are other options in the PS4 library, but TSA is also a title that it's worth playing if you ever find the chance to do so.

Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online brings the MMORPG experience into both its gameplay and story, and the series characteristic humor should please veteran players of the series or the genre. Valkyria Revolution has a solid foundation and it could have been an excellent game, however, there are many issues that turn it into a mediocre game. Its plot is intriguing, but badly told. The battle system has some interesting stuff, but the game does not encourage the player to use them. I honestly hope we can see a follow-up that can achieve all the potential that Revolution has.

Here we enter a particularly difficult case to judge: is it worth playing Chrono Cross these days? Absolutely. Is this faulty port worth buying at its launch price? It depends. It's a shame the remaster turned out this way, but Chrono Cross is still a gem even after all these years.
