8 / 10.0 - Bus Simulator 21
Sep 14, 2021

How long is a piece of string? yes, I know twice the length from the end to the middle. However, Bus Simulator 21 will give you hours and hours of gameplay. I guess you could compare the amount of game time to the amount of real-time you would be waiting for a bus replacement service in central London. Getting stuck into having multiple bus driving routes around the city is just such a success story. Thankfully you can share that fun with a friend in the coop mode. Final Thoughts Overall if you are a fan of simulation games then Bus Simulator 21 is for you. Don’t delay because you don’t want to miss the next bus. Bus Simulator 21 receives the Thumb Culture Gold Award

8 / 10.0 - Project CARS 3
Sep 1, 2020

Project Cars 3, the racing is great fun. Its just a shame that it has the preconceptions that a game with the Project Cars name will always carry. If you can look past the name and see the game for itself, as an arcade racer then you are in for a treat. Whilst it is no means perfect, its a great change in direction and one that I am happy they have gone in that direction. Project Cars 3 races to a Thumb Culture Gold Award

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a great game to grace the Star Wars Universe and to be honest all through the gameplay I just had a smile right across my face. Its pure Star Wars fun and you won’t be disappointed. It’s actually great to have some good news coming to games based on Star Wars. With great characters, especially BD-1, you feel like you are playing through an epic story, and you are constantly reminded that this is Star Wars Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order receives the Thumb Culture Platinum Award

8 / 10.0 - FIFA 20
Sep 26, 2019

As with all FIFA titles, you can literally to continue to play FIFA 20 right up to the day “21” is released. With the addition of Volta is does give the game a fresh feel to the FIFA series. Is it enough to make you purchase this if you already are invested into the previous iteration…only time will tell. Overall its another solid football game and if you are a fan of the games, then no doubt this is already on your to-buy list. FIFA 20 receives the Thumb Culture Gold Award

8 / 10.0 - Close to the Sun
May 1, 2019

So all in all Storm In A Teacup have done a great job with Close To The Sun. Its story driven action, combined with puzzle solving and the unnerving fact that you can’t defend yourself, all gets packaged up into a nice neat bundle of joy to play through. Close To The Sun thoroughly deserves its Thumb Culture Gold Award

This really all depends on whether you enjoy doing the same thing over and over again. Personally, after writing this review, I honestly can’t see me going back to the Switch version when I can power up my PC and play a deeper version of the same game, albeit made by different developers. This “lite” version of the game, however, will be fine for newcomers to the series to get a taste of repairing cars and earning some steady cash.
