Critic Reviews for Construction Simulator
Construction Simulator (2022) seeks to give the series new life, but doesn't quite strike the nail right on the head. Its beautiful visuals offer a richly detailed world to explore and work in, but its simplified mechanics and tedious design choices can turn some hardcore simmers away. Yet it still provides an all-round decent heavy machinery experience.
Despite feeling automated at times, Construction Simulator was still a fun and very relaxed experience that simulator fans should absolutely check out.
Construction Simulator like many simulator games before it is only going to appeal to a niche audience. If you relish getting behind the controls of a steam roller or excavater in a video game and completing jobs then you’ll likely enjoy this as there is dozens and dozens of hours worth of content for you. Just be prepared to experience some technical issues and a learning curve along the way.
Construction Simulator is without doubt the most complete opus in the franchise, developed by the Weltenbauer studio. The missions are varied, there's dubbing for the campaigns, and there are two zones large enough to vary the fun. While there are a few machines that are more difficult to handle, the overall experience is pretty fun, especially since it's possible to play with 3 other people. The tasks may seem, and sometimes are, repetitive, but the accessibility options mean that there's something for everyone. The title is clearly recommended for simulation fans, but also for those new to the genre.

Construction Simulator is a highly detailed simulation of the modern construction process. Putting the player at the controls of a huge fleet of replicas of authentic equipment, this gorgeous game will hit the spot for players looking for a relatively relaxed, engaging game. This is a great fit for the dedicated building or management gamer, but has a slower pace than RTS or action gamers will be used to. Grab this one when you need a break from against-the-clock action and you won’t be disappointed.
Construction Simulator is an ultra-realistic sim title. Moreover, its vast number of tasks will occupy you for hours. I adored its blend of jobs, range of vehicles, and massive maps. However, I would have liked the visuals to be more polished and the music to be more varied.
Overall Construction Simulator is a great game to play. It isn’t perfect, there are a few strange camera angles, but what it does well, it does really well. The construction side of the game, is absolutely perfect, and for that reason I award Construction Simulator with the Thumb Culture Gold Award

Unlike its predecessors, Construction Simulator has two separate maps with their own unique campaigns boasting over 90 contracts. Each map has a small group of land development companies looking to grow the town industries in various areas. These include business, residential, commercial, and more, each with their own manager for their projects.
