8 / 10.0 - Far From Noise
Nov 25, 2017

Far From Noise is a haiku of the video games' world. Minimal amount of expressive means is compensated by the most careful elaboration of each of them. Every

A short and charming adventure. A lifetime journey through regrets. Two points of view on the same story, and each of them has every right to exist. One of the most beautiful games of the year is paradoxical. On the one hand, it is notably lacking in detail and depth — at least give us the names of the characters. On the other hand, it is a perfectly coherent statement, all details of which perfectly complement each other.

8 / 10.0 - Tacoma
Aug 11, 2017

Tacoma is a game of hope. Fullbright showed that they are able not only to look into the past with nostalgia, but also instill optimism in our future. Well, this is a rarity in our time, what with all the disturbing news and bad premonitions. Here, space is also a premonition, but a rather bright one.

8.5 / 10.0 - Pentiment
Dec 17, 2022

A journey to medieval Bavaria with its human joys and numerous sorrows – not without routine and uneven pace, without any intelligible gameplay, but authentic, vividly written and with a deep message.

8.5 / 10.0 - Genesis Noir

Very simple in its mechanics, Genesis Noir takes over with flawless atmosphere, style and a mind-blowing flight of fantasy.

8.5 / 10.0 - Spiritfarer
Sep 12, 2020

Spiritfarer tries to become a bittersweet balm for loss wounds, but slightly misses the status of a masterpiece without collecting a handful of mini-catharses into one big one at the end.

8.5 / 10.0 - FAR: Lone Sails
Jun 2, 2018

FAR: Lone Sails is not long, very simple game, but with perfect rhytm and surprisingly addictive process. So much that you'll want to beat it in one session. And, perhaps, to start anew – it will not reveal something new and will not offer challenges, but it is very pleasant to swim along the waves of its melancholy. Kind of like to read a nice poem and then go over it.

Mar 10, 2018

Despite the star authors, Where The Water Tastes Like Wine runs the risk of being overlooked by the general public. Game is very specific in form and deep in content, almost devoid of gameplay in the usual sense. A collection of stories, dipping into folklore and exploring basic American archetypes under the guise of a video game.
