Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from MachineGames studio is a true love letter to fans of the original film trilogy. (But it's not without flaws).

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is an unique feat of engineering with elements of a game. We get another graphical revolution that – as revolutions tend to do – is quite bumpy. But at the same time it allows you to feel like a professional pilot or simply have fun by flying directly over your house.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a game you love despite its flaws, not for being perfect. The superb atmosphere, immersion, gameplay, game world and audiovisual setting collide with technical flaws that shouldn't have happened on the day of release, though we probably expected a bit of that. The technical bugs couldn’t fight the magic of this game. It shows perfectly how hard it is to give a one, final note – both high and low notes can be justified with many arguments. It all boils down to: how much can you forgive for the opportunity to dive into the Zone?

Farming Simulator 25 is a bit like the latest iPhones – no extravagance, no revolution, a slightly improved, familiar product for regular customers. If you are one of them, you surely already have a pre-order. And if not - there is something to complain about.

Star Wars: Outlaws has flaws that are easy to forgive. You have to remember – this is a game for mass audience, younger gamers included, that has to provide joy to everyone dreaming of being inside their favorite universe. And Outlaws does this very well, with a cool idea for some open world fun.

Still Wakes the Deep is a very capable walking simulator, but that’s it. No sparks of genius here. The game is quite monotonous, fortunately it delivers some fun with a unique setting and a really good, dramatic storyline that would fit a movie far better than a game.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is a fantastic game, but probably not for everyone. It appears to be a next-generation title in every aspect; impressive with its ever-changing Icelandic landscapes, realistic photogrammetry, lighting, particle effects, character movement animations, acting, and intriguing storyline. The combat is brutal, and the voices constantly heard by Senua sound as if we are hearing them in our own heads.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an epic sequel that goes through just like watching the Spider-Man movies – in the same breath.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Crew Motorfest
Sep 18, 2023

The Crew Motorfest turned out to be a plesant surprise. Driving a firebird through night mist or speeding in a F40 while listening to Blondie stays in your head. Because, ultimately, these small moments are all that matters – and there’s a lot of joy here.

6.5 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Aug 9, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a shallow RPG. I strongly believe that with less work, it could be a much better action-adventure game. If you approach it with this mindset, it might seem like a quite good game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Trepang2
Jun 19, 2023

Trepang2 is a game made according to a recipe that's more than 20 years old. Arguably, however, the FEAR formula is still relevant. The shooting is really, really satisfying, too. A pleasant surprise, for sure!

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has the features of a solid „middle of the road” game. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. The game is tiring, and I really wish this Gollum had a chance to return – with all his dialog lines, sarcasm, and the Smeagol persona – in a different, much better game.

It’s hard to assess an excellent and very engaging game that's also fundamentally flawed with technical and performance issues. Then again, these are easier to eliminate, and probably they will be soon. Or not. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a 9/10 game for SW fans, but for everyone else, as an experience that's not very comfortable, the score would be considerably lower.

8 / 10.0 - Dead Island 2
Apr 18, 2023

Dead Island 2 does not fool you into thinking it's another deep virtual drama or an epic RPG. It’s simply a great action comedy designed to make you relax, provided you like bloody hordes of zombies.

9 / 10.0 - Hogwarts Legacy
Feb 6, 2023

Hogwarts Legacy’s wonderful world makes it one of those games that you'd just love to keep experiencing for the first time - forever - and we envy anyone who's yet to step into it. Even if it’s just a regular, open-world game underneath all the magic, it truly is an excellent one.

The Callisto Protocol continues Dead Space’s legacy in a very competent manner. It might very well be the beginning of a new series, because the most important thing – scaring the player – works very well here.

6.5 / 10.0 - Evil West
Nov 21, 2022

A steampunk Wild West, cool characters and a terrific vampire carnage are Evil West’s strong features. Unfortunately, the technical aspects are archaic, without any intended homage to classic games.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a video game equivalent of Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s a lot of fun, gunplay feels great, and all of that sounds and looks excellent (it definitely is one of the prettiest games out there). But we still wouldn’t nominate MW2 a game of the year.

7 / 10.0 - Gotham Knights
Oct 20, 2022

You can’t deny Gotham Knights is a spectacle, provides high octane action, and an interesting storyline. It doesn’t work great all the way through, but not every game has to be a complex, mindblowing experience. Sometimes accessibility is where all the fun is.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Quarry
Jun 8, 2022

The Quarry is not much of a game – it’s an interactive movie with some basic game elements to check the “interactive” boxes. If you keep that in mind, you should have a hell of a time. The Quarry is Supermassive Games’ best title yet.
